I just bought a 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo and could not be happier with it! Leo was very patient through all the troubles with financing and was always an email away with any questions I might have. He is very quick to respond to any issues that you may face in the process of buying a vehicle and does not play games. He is honest and straightforward. Don't let the small shop fool you into thinking this is not a reputable business. He has a large inventory of reasonably priced cars and trucks and will work with you on making a deal that you are happy with. Overall, this is how car buying should be. No games, no gimmicks, just good, honest, friendly business deals.

Thank you Philip, enjoy your Jeep! I really enjoyed working with you and your family.
Poor Body Work
I had minor rust repaired on my 1992 BMW convertible in April, 2013. We discussed it extensively and I agreed to have Albo do the job when they said they would cut out the rust, weld in new metal, prime, and match the existing paint. He did say rust was like cancer, and I told him I had cancer fifteen years ago and it didn't come back because I went to the right doctor. I asked him if he was the right body shop, and he said yes. When I went to pick up the car, the paint didn't match. They insisted it was due to weathering of the existing paint and would have to paint more of the car to blend it in and up-charged me a considerable additional cost. At no time did they call me to explain paint problems or to consult with me further. They just put the car back together and, I presume, expected me not to notice. And the punch-line is the rust came back in barely a year. When I went back to them, they were absolutely unhelpful and wanted to charge me thousands of dollars to re-do what should have lasted longer than it did. I am realistic about rust. It can come back, and often does in a few years. But not always. And not in such a short time. I just came from another body shop for a collision estimate for a minor fender-bender my wife had. They pointed out that the trim strips, which would have had to be removed to do the cut-and-weld, had paint on the edges where they had been masked off. The estimator thought they had not been removed, but were just painted around. I feel like I was jerked around, that the work was not as pledged and was not done well, that I was up-charged for paint matching that any body shop should have been able to do, and that they were unwilling to stand behind their work. I am unhappy with the result and with the experience. I cannot recommend Albo for body work.

Jwerner761, I would like to talk to you to see if we can find a resolution to your problem. I don't believe I got a chance to speak with you to see what we can do to fix the issue, so feel free to give me a call anytime and I will personally see that we find a solution. Leo G.
Great Guys, Great Experience
We did not need a car. We were just looking for a specific type of vehicle. We found the car we wanted at Albo. We are car-dealer phobic so we were a bit apprehensive. Leo was great to work with. The entire experience was a pleasure, no pressure, reasonable prices and an overall good experience. Albo is a small family run auto shop so don't expect any fancy showrooms or amenities. However, the car buying experience was a breeze. Leo worked a good deal and then did all the paperwork. This made the transaction super easy and painless. We have been back for service work and are very pleased with their quality and prices. We're glad we stopped in and now have a place we trust to go for our car needs.

Solid car and straight deal.
I found a station wagon on Cars.com without a picture. We drove to the area to look at other cars and Albo was the only place to get back to us the same day. First impressions were rough as the car was iced in with a low tire and battery. 15 minutes later it was ready to go, proving that they were there to serve even if they had maybe an hours notice on a car they weren't aggressively selling. Price was great and the car was in great shape for a 12 yr old wagon. Kitted out model with only one owner. They had the car fax on hand as soon as I asked for it. They had even taken the initiative to replace known issues with warrantied parts. We shopped far and wide for about 3 more days before returning a call and negotiating a price. They picked me up from the train station so my wife didn't need to cart the kids out and brought me right in to get the car. Plates, registration, and title done and out the door in about 30 minutes. I've never had a better automobile buying experience. Next time I'm looking I'm gonna call Leo first to see what they have in inventory. After the purchase I ran it to my mechanic and he could only find to small issues. I expect to spend maybe a thousand dollars after purchasing a used car in the first 6 months. So far I'm under that mark thanks to their attention to likely issues.

Worth the drive!
We drove 500 miles for the vehicle we found on cars.com. I contacted Leo before we left and he gave us very upfront information. . .very honest. He checked in a few times during our drive to be sure we were finding our way and to let us know he would stay late to meet us since the snow on the way slowed us down. He had the vehicle ready to go and was very upfront with what had and hadn't been done to the vehicle. It was nice to know exactly what we were purchasing. I did take the vehicle to my own mechanic once I arrived home and he gave the same report as Leo. Would definitely recommend Albo Auto. The customer service is unbeatable before, during, and even after the purchase. Thanks Leo!

Great cars, good prices, honest service
We made an appointment with Leo to see a particular car. When we arrived, Leo had the car we wanted to see ready for us to drive, even though the rest of the lot was still under a foot of snow! He was very helpful reviewing our options for extended warranties and financing. We didn't end up buying from him -- the car was a bit too "old" for my daughter's liking -- but I won't hesitate to go back to Albo next time I'm in the market for a high quality, fairly priced used car.

Fair Salesmanship, Local ownership and Friendly
We came in to see a yellow BMW for my teenage son. That day we saw the Jeep Cherokee on the corner of the lot there, and my son loved it. A quality car that needed some issues handled before buying. The process of negotiating was painless and fair. We got a gereat deal on a good pre-driven car. We knew the history of the Jeep before buying (CARFAX and title history). As part of the deal, Leo promised to repair the floorboard where it was rusting through under the passenger side carpet. Before picking up the Jeep, this work was done 100% satisfactorily. I would absolutely buy another pre-drioven vehicle from them.

Great buying experience.
We were a little nervous because when we first arrived at ALBO it just looks like a body shop that sells used cars. But now after all they went through to make the purchase process as smooth as possible I would have no hesitation in recommending them to friend, family, neighbors & co-workers. Leo Goldyuk is the sales manager / co-owner and is very willing to do whatever it takes to make his customers happy. I give this a 9.5 out of 10.

Will buy from Albo again!
We purchased a used car from Albo, after a Cars.com search. Leo and Boris were very customer oriented, quick to respond, helpful in every way. We plan to purchase another used vehicle from them in the near future. Thanks Albo! We need more businesses with quality customer service like yours!
