I experienced disappointment on multiple levels with my

I experienced disappointment on multiple levels with my recent experience at Apple Ford in Lynchburg. I purchased an electronic brake controller from Ford Motor Company and scheduled the installation for my 2021 Ford Ranger at the dealership. I dropped off my truck the night before the scheduled service. On the day of the service, I received a text from the technician instructing me to communicate through text for service updates. Despite reaching out to the technician three times, I received no updates and never got a call back. Eventually, I received a text informing me that the service would take longer than expected and that they would need to keep the truck overnight. The following day, I still didn't receive any communication from the dealership. After calling them, I was informed that the service would be completed by the end of the day. At 4:30 PM, I finally received a call saying the service was done and the truck was ready for pick up. However, when I spoke with the service manager, I was informed that the service was not actually completed because they discovered that the electronic brake controller kit had missing parts. This was a major disappointment, especially when they contacted Ford and were told that the item was discontinued, despite having been sold to me just two weeks prior. When I asked the service manager about getting a refund for the $359.00 I had paid, I was disappointed to be told that it wasn't their responsibility and that I should contact Ford. This lack of ownership over the situation only added to my frustration. The only positive, I was not charged for the non-service. Deplorable customer service for the tech, slightly better with the manager.

Poor service,

Had my truck for 4 months and have no idea when they will actually work on it. They can’t work on my truck because they have appointments. All I get is excuses when I call the service person. Don’t buy a Ford! Period because if you have a problem you will be without a vehicle for a long time. I’m new to Lynchburg, and just about everybody I talk to shake their head when I tell them my truck is at Apple Ford. One new friend told you might never get the truck back, I’m starting to think he was correct. Ford has a lot of problems, thus they need an army of mechanics to repair the junk they make. They don’t have the mechanics to work on the vehicles they sell. Ask yourself can you be without a vehicle for months on end?

Barry set me up to purchase a 2022 Maverick in Nov of

Barry set me up to purchase a 2022 Maverick in Nov of 2021. I sold my Silverado to the dealership. Most everyone told me “they’ll mark it up $5,000” “because they can!”. Truck came in last June. Barry calls us and says Maverick is in. No mark up, I had already signed a contract in Nov. Best auto buy since moving to Va. Nice to do business with a company that did exactly what was on our contract. No price gauging. Just an honest deal.

Very Dissatisfied

I can honestly say I was disappointed. Scheduled an oil change for 4 pm June 8th. I arrived early and I was treated with respect and the two young men at the desk were very nice: one does have an obsession with a yo-yo. While oil is being changed , the yo-yo person tells me I need tires, right away. I have cords showing. I’m in the quick lane and tire department. I told them to put tires on. “Ma’Am we don’t have your size. Ok. You sell tires and you don’t have my size? We can order them. I said I’ll go to shop in keysville and get tires. He tells me they will to a price match on tires you don’t have. Then a few minutes later I’m told I need wheel alignment as soon as possible. “ you need it tomorrow”. I said impossible. Now would tires be more important than wheel alignment? I paid bill. Get in vehicle and they did not reset the service light for oil change reminders. I was so dissatisfied. Yo-yo person was just trying to add on expenses. Needless to say I purchased tires on June 9 th with installation. And guess what a tire center that has tires. I’ll be taking my ford to any other place besides Apple ford

WORTHLESS ABSOLUTELY POSITIVELY xxxxING WORTHLESS.

WORTHLESS ABSOLUTELY POSITIVELY xxxxING WORTHLESS. THEY SAY THEY'LL DO SOMETHING BUT TURN RIGHT AROUND AND DO SOMETHING COMPLETELY DIFFERENT. I TOOK MY CAR IN TO GET WORKED ON. I GOT IT BACK ON FRIDAY AND THEN DRIVE IT TO A JOB INTERVIEW. I WAS GONNA TRY DRIVING IT HOME BUT IT STARTED OVERHEATING SO I PULLED IN TO A PARKING LOT. LONG STORY SHORT I ENDED UP GETTING IT TOWED BACK TO THE DEALERSHIP. YESTERDAY I CALLED TO ASK ABOUT AN UPDATE BUT WAS TOLD THEY'D CALL ME WITH AN UPDATE BUT WHEN I CALLED THIS AFTERNOON I WAS TOLD THE TECHNICIANS WERE AT LUNCH AND THE LADY COULDN'T (OR WOULDN'T) GIBE ME AN ESTIMATE ON WHEN MY CAR WOULD BE READY TO BE PICKED UP. NEVER AGAIN WILL I DEAL WITH APPLE FORD (OR ANY FORD DEALERSHIP AT ANY RATE) NOR WILL I EVER PURCHASE ANOTHER FORD VEHICLE.

I bought a set of tires from these guys which were...

I bought a set of tires from these guys which were warranted for 65,000 miles. 17,120 miles later my car failed inspection (at another location) for tires. The inspector proved this to me with a gauge. So that was $700 for tires I wasn’t planning on spending. I of course kept the old tires to file a claim. I took the old tires to the dealership and was told they would file a claim and get back to me. 3 weeks later I called and was told they hadn’t heard anything back. I reminded them I bought the tires from them and I expected them to make this right. I also requested the shop manager call me. Three more weeks have gone by and I still haven’t heard from them. So it is clear they have no intention of “taking care of their customer“. So do I take a legal action, or do I just let it go… We’re only talking $350-$400. I will probably just let it go. However this dealership will never get another dime of my money and I was planning on buying a new fusion next year… not now, I am definitely never from them!!! I most definitely do not recommend this place!!!

Surprized with damage

Arrived in town from a 350 mile drive the day before to pick up a vehicle I saw and bought online. Surprised with damage on tailgate. Salesman and Manager got together to develop a plan of recovery and reduced the agreed to price to something I could live with. Vehicle sold for $3K below market value...plenty to repair the damaged area and tailgate. Sometimes a great recovery is better than a "perfect" transaction.
