My experience when I first looked, paid for in full &
My experience when I first looked, paid for in full & picked up my car, at the Denver location, was great. I live in the Springs & so, have had to do business with the Tutt location & it's been a horrible experience EVERY time! Only 30 days into ownership, the battery had to be replaced. Since then, my stereo stopped working & the "new" battery doesn't hold a charge if it's not started every day. Despite all these problems, my biggest complaint is the customer service, in particular, the service department. No matter when or how many times I was transferred to the service department, NOBODY ever answered. I had to jump thru hoops to be able to talk to someone with authority, that could get me an appointment. Unable to figure out the problem with the stereo, CarMax referred me to Phil Long Hyundai & with my extended warranty, they were obligated to pay for the stereo repair. For almost TWO WEEKS, Phil Long Hyundai called & left numerous messages, with no reply. At this point, I had no choice but to get rude & ugly on the phone, until I was able to talk to a manager & finally have someone give Phil Long the go ahead. Please note, that I not only know of several others, but have actually talked to several CarMax customers with the same complaints. To sum it up, beware of the CarMax in Colorado Springs, if you need a repair!

My experience when I first looked, paid for in full & picked up my car, at the Denver location, was great. Sold me a car with bad brakes, then replaced them
CarMax sold me a truck with malfunctioning brakes, specifically a cracked brake pad. They agreed to replace the front brakes. Those breaks were terrible too. Loud grinding noises felt like they were slipping. They agreed to replace those as well. The third set of brakes I'm now on have just been confirmed by Honda to be the wrong brake pads. I've been driving around on unsafe brakes since I bought this vehicle. But what's even more concerning is how hard it is to get anybody to care. Twice now I've been promised to call back that doesn't come. And this is from there "executive" team. I was promised to call back on Friday morning and it's now Monday evening and nobody ever called. I had to call in myself. Complete disregard for the safety of their customers. I've also already had a check engine light and it was sold to me with the slow leak in a tire. And the icing on the cake is at the Android auto / Apple carplay only works half of the time. I should have stuck to buying from EchoPark. Their customer service is so much better

We were looking for a late model MDX of which there are few in the years we were considering. Garrett Deschaine helped us test drive one and located one the would be transferred free of charge. He stayed late and return to the office just to insure the order was placed. The helpful, reliable and going the extra mile without pressure is amazing in the car world. I love doing business with CARMAX!

Terrible ... Charges way over Kelly blue book value ... Took full advantage over a lady friend of mine ... Car was totalled less than 1 month of purchase by Hail ... Full coverage insurance paid Blue Book value & now she still owes carmax over 2000.00 ... BS company & customer service.

Love everything about them
After a horrible experience with phil Long, I went to CarMax. They found me a car, paying careful attention to my criteria and concerns. Cheyenne was my sales person and she got me financed right away. They did NOT CLOSE on the loan at any time during their own exchange period and have an unprescedented warranty which they honor. Once the 5 day period passed and I had no complaints, my loan closed and that was it. Their service department is great too! Had my oil change done pretty quickly and a small issue was found. They informed ME I had a warranty and to use it. So I did!!!!! Anyway, They didn't try to push a car I didn't want and went above and beyond my expectations. I was impressed and will always recommend them so long as they continue their excellent service. And I have not had any major things going on with my vehicle. It's awesome!
