Typical dealership

Requested a trade appraisal and got quoted 400 below kbb. Told them I wasn't interested any more and they still bug me periodically. Dealers don't care about the person or family only the sale. Take the time, expand the search and even consider private sellers. Because whether you buy private or from a dealer, once you give them the money they wont help with any faults that weren't disclosed, which is normally most. So save the money for the repairs and buy used elsewhere.

Bought car here!

Salesman Bill Gerhke very nice. He and Bryant the finance guy were very nice people. Will recommend to all to visit this car lot in Portales.

kendall and Mike

Buying a car is one thing but having to worry about repairs etc. is a different problem in itself, but when meet kendall and mike and they actually listen to you, help you and you are treated as a real person it makes owning a new car worth it. They are very friendly and caring. They go above and beyond to help the customer.

I did not visit the dealership in person. I called about 2 vehicles that were listed for sale on Cars.com. The salesman took the time to check on the vehicles and found that they were unavailable. He then asked about what I was looking for, the price range and when I was wanting to buy. I never heard from him again.

Use Caution

Use caution when going to buy a car from this place. They are very much into the good ole boy system. Unless you are a cousin, brother, etc. of a person that works there I would travel the hour or two and go to a reputable dealer. My experience was they tried selling me a truck at another dealer in Amarillo, well they lied to me about so much. 1. completely lied about my trade; that they had even appraised it and how much they were willing to pay for it until it came time to sign the papers. 2. The car they said they could have for me in a day was a dealer demo that they had no access to because it was being driven by the dealerships owner in Amarillo. 3. After confronting them (Andy and Warren) about the issue and confronting their sales manger they could care less about lying to me, my time and my money I spend on gas to see them three times. I tried not to believe the hype around town about how poorly I would be treated at this dealership and how much they were going to try and take advantage of me in doing a deal, I went to see them anyway. Now I see and would never recommend anyone go there unless spending too much money is no problem for you and you don't mind subpar customer service.
