Review of Westside Kia SERVICE DEPARTMENT ONLY !

Review of Westside Kia SERVICE DEPARTMENT ONLY !! OWNER WILLIAM AUFFENBERG I hope this gets to you directly ……………. Westside Kia SERVICE is dishonest and unethical. I brought my vehicle in for a strong ammonia smell, and after charging me for unnecessary services, they claimed my engine coolant reservoir and other parts were “aftermarket/junkyard” and refused warranty coverage. I knew this wasn’t true — my repairs had been done at their partner dealership, Westside Chevrolet, with insurance-approved OEM parts. I even provided documentation. When I challenged their false claims, I got upset and turned around and said this is F^CKN ridiculous Sales Manager Richard Martinez got so upset that I cursed not at him but at the situation told me my vehicle had junkyard parts and then banned me from returning to the dealership. This was after they had previously serviced the same coolant reservoir on 2 separate service visits themselves without ever flagging it as non-original. “If this wasn’t an original Kia part, why did your certified service technician not flag it before, on those 2 separate visits addressing and fixing the same part ? I watched on the same day Richard Martinez address 2 service issues with 2 other women who dropped the F bomb to his face and he was calm with them and never banned them I guess because I’m not white I get banned. RACE DISCRIMINATION !!!!!!! If you’re a woman don’t even think about coming to this service center without a male companion they treat women terrible GENDER DISCRIMINATION !!! Richard Martinez is the most unethical, unprofessional, egotistical, service manager I’ve ever experienced in my life. He accused his partner location Westside Chevrolet of unpractical practices. By law (Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act), Kia cannot deny warranty coverage just by claiming a part is not original unless they can prove: • That aftermarket/non-original part caused the failure. And even if they can’t prove that, they may still be obligated to cover it. To confirm the truth, I took my car to another Kia dealership. They inspected it, verified that all parts were original OEM, and fixed the issue under warranty with no problem. This experience proves Westside Kia SERVICE lied to avoid warranty work and retaliated against me when I questioned them. Their conduct is deceptive, unprofessional, and feels like a scam. Because of this, I have already obtained a Attorney, filed formal complaints with the Better Business Bureau, Kia Consumer Affairs, Federal Trade Commissioner and state consumer protection agencies. Consumers should be extremely cautious about trusting this dealership with service. I hate that the Kia Sales team has to be associated with such a criminal service department Sales has always been wonderful.

Hello Ms. Aufferberg, I'm reaching out to you to express dissatisfaction and concern regarding an experience I had at your dealership on Westside Kia on August 08, 2025 specifically involving Sales Manager Willie Suliveras. My mother, daughter and I walked into the dealership to purchase a new vehicle. Mr. Ali the sales representative was very professional with my family. During my visit, I was subjected to behavior that I can only describe as unprofessional, inappropriate, and deeply humiliating. I'm extremely disappointed with your Sales Manager Willie Suliveras at Westside Kia on August 08, 2025. I was disrespected, humiliated in front of customers along with my mother and daughter. His actions by cursing and being so aggressive and offensive towards us. Ali promised us a certain rate and we agreed on after Willie Suliveras reviewed our credit and accepted our offer he advised Mr. Ali of our options with KIA credit and Capital One. Once we went into finance to execute the loan agreement with Fernando Gomez the rate and the price we agreed for the vehicle wasn't the same. When we complaint about the inaccuracies Willie Suliveras threw the paperwork to my mothers face and advised us to leave his xxxxING dealer and go elsewhere if we didn't agree with on the rate and price. This type of conduct is not only unacceptable, but it also reflects poorly on your dealership’s commitment to customer service and respect. I expected to be treated with professionalism and courtesy—not to be embarrassed and disrespected My daughter was so distraught and my mother's blood pressure spiked I had to take her to the hospital. It hurt to see my daughter crying and afraid watching Willie Suliveras curse the salesman Ali for providing the wrong information. I could have called the police to file an assault case by him throwing the documents to my mother face. My concern was my mother at the moment and we left. I've went over the reviews for Kia Westside and I'm not the only victim complaining about his attitude and his humiliation towards other customers. Feel free to review the cameras footage. Willie Suliveras is not the appropriate person to represent your dealership.

Our salesman Daniel Terry was awesome, there was no high

Our salesman Daniel Terry was awesome, there was no high pressure sales tactics, and Daniel didn’t take a long time to get us answers to our questions or concerns. Daniel was by far the easiest and most knowledgeable person to work with and he had our new vehicle cleaned spotless and ready to go when we arrived on closing day. Daniel sold me and my wife this white 2025 KIA Telluride S and had demonstrated to us all the various features of this new KIA vehicle. Daniel was by far the easiest and most knowledgeable person to work with and he had our new vehicle cleaned spotless and ready to go when we arrived on closing day. He even had to new plates installed on it... Way to go Daniel!!

Everyone was nice!

Everyone was nice! The only thing I didn’t like was that I scheduled an appointment for my oil change at 10am and was told that my car wouldn’t be worked on until mid-afternoon. They did get me a ride from the dealership and back when my car was done around 2pm the same day.
