The cost of the car was over $2,500 more than the price

The cost of the car was over $2,500 more than the price listed on cars.com because it did not include the "certified pre-owned" fee(?). It was a bait-and-switch tactic to get me into the showroom. Honda dealership at Paramus online listing included the "certified pre-owned" value so that price of the car listed online was the price I agreed and eventually bought. This is the second time I was scammed by Hudson Honda. The first time was their oil change service. They did not top off the fluids. I had to return to have them finish their work.

Terrible dealership.

Terrible dealership. I would write 0 stars if I could. This dealership has a lack of customer service, unorganized work area, lack of leadership and literally every bad trait you can think of. I went in first day offered me 400 lease 5k down on a 72 month finance. Next, the head manager comes out and tells use that because one of his mangers said that to us, it was no longer his problem. He then proceeds to borderline yells at us that our prices our unreasonable ( prices his own employees gave us) and offer us 480 FOR THE SAME 72 MONTH 5K DOWN FINANCE LOLL

I went to Hudson Honda for an oil change.

I went to Hudson Honda for an oil change. They told me that they couldn’t perform oil change because I needed a new oil pan because the bolt was stripped. Mind you, I had just replaced the oil pan a year ago at an outside shop. So I took the car back to the shop that replaced the pan, and low and behold, the oil pan was new and the bolt was not stripped. I just don’t understand why Honda would tell me that they couldn’t perform oil change and try to sell me a new oil pan for $1000 which I clearly did not need. Did they think I wouldn’t follow up with another mechanic? After this incident I don’t know if I can trust Hudson Honda. I always went there because I thought they were trust worthy, but now it looks like I need to find another shop. For any and all repairs…. even an oil change.

BEWARE: this people are unethical and unscrupulous.

BEWARE: this people are unethical and unscrupulous. They are not transparent and are very sneaky when making a deal. They list lower prices online and when you arrive at the dealership they pad the deal with excessive fees to bring the price higher. I also don’t think they charge the fees equitably meaning the fees vary based on the customer. I called prior to visiting and asked if they had fees and they were clear to tell me that they only charged the document fee which was $799. However, after we liked the car they appeared to have raised the document fee to $899 and charged an additional car inspection fee of $999. The fees made the care exceed its value and I would have been buying into a car at a deficit. When I inquired about the fees and told them my previous conversation about the fees, they shrugged it off and said that everyone had to pay them. I told them that they should just be honest and list the car for the price that they want rather than wasting peoples time and taking advantage of people. I am going to file a regulatory complaint because I would like to have them audited to see if they’re charging the fees to everyone. This could help make a case for the NJ legislation to have these fees regulated and capped. Please respond below if you’ve had a similar experience when you realized that your contract was padded when you got home, or if you didn’t have to pay a fee at all. One more thing.. I understand that there are taxes and MVA fees. The fees that I am referring to are in addition to the taxes and MVA fees, and they’re taxed to make you pay more in taxes.

This place’s customer service like joke.

This place’s customer service like joke. I came here to buy honda pilot and got appointment. Whenever ı show up , i asked to person is it hudson or repair. He making fun of it and “i will let you know someone help you or not” and after i complain he said he is the manager and he said i don’t want to business with you. Thats super rude. I never see place like that. Horrible customer relationship.

Made trading in car and getting into lease a breeze. Honest and didn't change numbers or waste time. Second time doing business with them and it was great. I would recommend them a hundred times over. Joe, Milton, Rose , Emmanuel and Josefina are who I had the pleasure of dealing with.
