I bought my truck from village auto 29 in august of 2023

I bought my truck from village auto 29 in august of 2023 the timing chain broke 2nd day i had and was unable to get my money back. They replaced motor with salvaged motor that had nearly 10,000 more miles than what they told me. The auto drive extended warranty they sold me also garbage as ive spent thousands in diagnostics and repairs and it has covered a tow and 2 oil changes. I 100% do not reccommend this place to anyone and would rate them the worst of the worst. The sticker on truck said luxury loaded when it should of said needs work

I would NEVER buy from here again.

I would NEVER buy from here again. I bought my truck in Sept. 2024, and have had this truck in the shop 5 times since then. It's come to the point I've contacted a lawyer. Yes I have the lifetime warranty, but geesh. 3 Mo and 5 trips to my local ASE mechanic for failures.

Very happy with our purchase.

Very happy with our purchase. 2019 Jeep Cherokee. Brenda and Mike were very kind and helpful. Easy to get a loan, and they were able to go through my credit union. Thank you.

I would stay away.

I would stay away. Stay very far away. Recalls weren't even corrected before the sale. $15k car that has now had $15k in repairs and counting in one year. Had parts installed that don't even belong on the car. They stuck lipstick on a pig and when the first issue showed up in 2 days said tough luck.

I was already unhappy with the purchase price of my 2012

I was already unhappy with the purchase price of my 2012 Toyota Venza (101k miles) in February 2022 at 17k after tax and xxxxty warranty. Less than 3 months after purchase, the check engine light came on and I was having stalling/hesitation of the engine at speeds above 40+ mph. It has gone downhill since. Many mechanics and attempts to figure out the exact issue with the engine,sparing details for this websites sake, the newest diagnosis calls for a full replacement of the engine. On a car I purchased from this dealership less than two years ago. And with a warranty that won’t even cover this. I blamed myself this whole time; but, since reading these comments I am relinquishing that guilt and taking this information to the proper authority who can help me figure out what rights as a consumer I have/should have had during that purchasing time.

Village Auto stated the vehicle was very clean and

Village Auto stated the vehicle was very clean and detailed. This was completely false I went through more towels while waxing it after taking it through the car wash twice. The inside of the doors were disgustingly dirty. The floor mats were indoor / outdoor carpet that you can buy from Menards and not a real floor mat. Don't get me started on how they “tried” to cover over scratches on the vehicle with globs of paint. The rims look like Village Auto went to the junk yard and got them off a wrecked vehicle . While signing the paperwork I asked the finance manager if there were any recalls on the vehicle, the finance manager said no we take care of all of them before they leave the dealership. I went online and found out there were 4 recalls going back to 2019 and it was purchased from Village Auto in March 2023. There was only one key fob and we had to purchase another one for over $300, two should have been include. Fast forward to May 2023 and the check engine light is now staying on.
