I never do reviews but felt obligated after my experience. I had issues 3 months after I purchased my Ford Edge. I reached out to Footh for guidance and they advised me to bring the vehicle in. They gave me a brand new Chevrolet as a free loaner car and called me the following morning to pick up my car. I purchased no extra warranty's and yet they stepped up and covered the cost of a new water pump!

Great workers

Great workers, helpful information, and great customer service. They would work with the customer to find the right ride and deals that would work for them. Really recommend this place for anybody shopping for a used car or want a good service!

Don’t do it!!

It pains me that I cannot give this place zero stars, and although I will not deny total liability for my lack of research into Footh auto: I still wanted to tell my story in hopes that no other gullible/easily influenced high school graduate will be taken for a ride. In high school Ben sat in front of my class and preached highly of his character. After hearing by word of mouth what a great guy he was I was so sure I wanted him to be my dealer. How foolish to trust a man I didn’t truly know who sells cars. I can tell you that I’m certainly paying for my naïveté and that Ben Footh is not the man you think. Here are the facts: I bought my car in late 2019 at the beginning of our pandemic. My specific dealer was a man named Alfonso - someone from who’s own volition - told me he would make sure I was taken care of and that he would ensure I left happily with a quality car; he even stated a veteran rarely used it and traded it in for something flashier. He sold me a lemon. The car started to have issues only months in. The first to fall apart was my lock case - they said it had water in it. Next a couple days hereafter two of my “new” tires popped. I paid for them myself because my warranty - that Alfonso preached would cover everything - did not in fact cover tires. Mind you reader that at first the employees at my dealership were kind to me. It was only after I attempted to be firm with them of my displeasure that I started being treated differently - colder, condescending, and clipped in their responses. My last time dealing with them something went wrong with my transmission days after I’d replaced the tires and That’s the last time I was ever in possession of my car. After that I was over being timid and letting them take advantage. I asked to talk to Ben and instead was passed around between three different employees, and a dope of a manager that decided not relay the fact that I wished to speak to Ben and not him. Evidently he was out of town. Frustrated I turned to my parents telling them everything seeking their advise and only managed to unintentionally rial them into posting negative comments about Footh for which I can tell you finally got me a phone call saying that Ben would pay for everything. I was so happy thinking a weight was lifted until I called to check on their progress and was told Ben was going back on his word. Evidently my parents had angrily posted more comments that I had asked them to take down and not post so I called Ben trying to explain to him that their words were not mine and I had went through them rather than myself. He was less than swayed and we ended up getting in a heated discussion resulting in my having to cut the call short because it resulted with me in tears and him losing his temper on me. I’m very proud of myself for not swearing and screaming - for not allowing such a fowl vindictive man to bring me down to his level. Unfortunately still I do not have my car and have decided to get an attorney. Please do not go to Footh if you were spun the same lies I was. He couldn’t care less if you’re having car problems the only thing that matters to him is his business that I was screamed at for supposedly slandering. I just wanted my first car - that I’m paying for still - to be a happy experience. I didn’t ask for the mental strain on an already tough year.

The real deal, they ain’t lying!

I got my new truck from the boys down at Footh’s Auto. They hooked it up and gave me a sweet deal on new rims and tires to make it look bad to the bone. Believe what they say on fb and ig, the real deal down here!

Wasted my time

Completely wasted my time! Went in April 26th got “approved” told me they had to go get a car from the auction, so I would have to wait until they went Tuesday and then gave the car an inspection. And to not go to apply anymore because they were putting me in a car for sure... Okay fine, I’m okay with that.. Texted me on April 29th asking me what can I put down despite the fact I was in there on the 26th told them what I had to put down, and was approved for that.. I texted back and told them what I had again, no reply.. Fast forward to May 4th because I hadn’t heard from anyone I contacted them asking them “what’s going on” I got the response of “oh sorry, we did get something in that I think would work but it has to pass inspection” mmmmmm so you mean you guys are just NOW getting a car for me? When were you guys going to contact me? Considering I’ve been the one having to reach out.. I ask him how long for the “inspection” he says “tomorrow”. Again keeping my cool and my patience I say “okay”... So I contact and tell them that I want to do a lower down payment.. now remind you when I first got a approved it was for $1000 down.. But when I asked for a specific car I had to put down $2000 but waiting the week and half for someone to contact me back, I spent some of the down payment money paying for rides (told them I needed a car ASAP for that reason) so he tells me “he would have to see what the bank says” which didn’t make sense to me because if I was already approved for $1000 down, I wanted to put more it wasn’t required why would the bank have a problem? So I tell him “okay that’s fine”.. Now today May 6th I’m supposed to go in and get a car... Now it’s “we might have a car for you but it won’t be ready until tomorrow or the next day after inspection, if you have to go somewhere else it’s fine” OMG!!!!! Now I’m at the point I’m pissed!!! Excuse me? “If I have to go somewhere else that’s fine”?????? You mean after you guys had me sitting around waiting for over a week!!!!!! I tell him that he replies with “the bank wants more money” how all of sudden do they want more money when they already approved me for $1000 down? “It’s going off your credit” he says You mean the SAME credit I had when I came in and got approved a week and half before???? This is the worst experience EVER! Completely wasted my time, gave me the run around! If I could give zero stars I WOULD!

drove over 1 hour and very happy i did

I bought a chevy suburban from footh auto and am very happy. We drove all the way from rochester because we saw a video on Facebook a year ago where they were giving food away to homeless people. I told them a year ago that when i was ready for a new truck that i would by from them and i kept my promise. Me and my wife were very happy with tony the sales guy and got to meet the owner ben. I will tell my friends and neighbors to drive to the cities because footh auto sales runs a good honest busness.

DON'T go to this dealership!!!!!

This dealership is absolutely deplorable, the absolute worst place you could ever go to buy a car! The pride themselves on being able to get anyone a car no matter what, an that no matter what may mean selling someone a car that is going to put them further behind then they already are or leave them on the side of the road. For example selling a vehicle that has a mechanical problem, promising to fix it and then not. Another example selling a vehicle that is considered a gray market vehicle, then selling an extended warranty on the same vehicle knowing that the warranty company would reject it due to being a gray market vehicle. To top it off when this was brought to the attention of Ben Footh, the owner himself he turned his shoulder and decided to be ignorant about his wrong doing. I reveived lots of rude text messages as well as voicemails form Ben Footh and his general manager Ken. I was told that they would take care of the problem as long as i signed a document stating i wouldn't post any negative comments in regards to the dealership. Instead of making sure that i was taken care of as a customer they were more worried about their reputation. Think twice before ever going to this dealership! They will xxxx you over any way they can just to get a sale....

3 years later and I am still pleased with my car

I want to say a few words about the excellent service and GREAT car I bought from Footh Auto Sales. I couldn't be happier with the customer service that I received and the quality of the automobile that I purchased. I recommend anyone looking for a trustworthy dealer to visit Footh Auto Sales. 3 years later my 2005 Cadillac xxx is still running like new. I have only had to change the oil and replace the battery . 5 Stars across the board!

Too much for the quality

I would NOT recommend this place to anyone. They are a total rip off and I felt pressured into buying my overpriced Camery. Then to top it off before I left the lot they made sure I gave them a great google review. (for a full tank of gas.) They had great personalities and it was a laugh while I was there and helped me transfer my things. However, they are CONS.. A half an hour after I pulled of the lot I went to return because I was not satisfied with the price and they told me I couldn?t.. They didn?t have all my documentation required before letting me leave with the car and come to find out the loan company didn?t even do a employment check until after the sale was final. I am NOW stuck with an over price car which has double the standard yearly mileage. I went to a Toyota dealership after they refused to return it just to compare and talk to a car sales man and get the value of mine. I could have bought a new Camery for 7,000 more than what I purchased this one for given the circumstances. Please beware of this place and I advise you to bring a third party in with you because they will take you for a ride alright! This is being looked into further. but for now, I just thought I?d voice my experience to all of you.
