READ BEFORE YOU BUY FROM CAR EXPO AUTO CENTER!

READ BEFORE YOU BUY FROM CAR EXPO AUTO CENTER! 🚨 I was super excited to purchase a 2011 sky blue Subaru Outback 3.6R Limited with only 50k miles on it from Car Expo Auto Center. The sales guy stood on his phone the whole time, and honestly didnt seem to care about me until we were signing paperwork. I knew I was being overcharged, but I was willing to pay more for reliability. I later discovered that it had a significant water leak from the rear window, which was never disclosed at the time of sale. When I first reached out about the issue, they seemed willing to help, but after months of back-and-forth and ignored emails, they ultimately refused to take any responsibility for a pre-existing defect that should have been caught in a proper inspection. Here’s what you need to know before buying from this dealership: ❌ They don’t properly inspect vehicles before selling them. ❌ They ignore customer concerns after the sale. ❌ They will refuse to take responsibility for defects they should have disclosed. Save yourself the headache and take your business somewhere else. I am now filing complaints with the California DMV and Attorney General due to their unethical business practices. If you’re considering buying from them, think twice.

This dealership has beautiful cars that are kept in great

This dealership has beautiful cars that are kept in great shape. The sales person, Matt, is very professional, and informative. We would’ve bought the car there on the spot, but it was just too small. It’s not over, still looking for the right car /suv Matt.

Not friendly at all, but direct and to the point.

Not friendly at all, but direct and to the point. No xx. Unfortunately, no negotiation either. They won’t budge on their prices and they’re a bit high. I’d rather spend my money elsewhere. Especially considering they didn’t even prepare the car for me to test drive, no wash, no gas, didn’t even pull it out and it was packed in there. Then he had to go put gas in it. So I waited, yuck.

Buyer Beware

Wasted my time driving there. No negotiation and yet I see they lowered selling price recently. Double talk... Caution when communication here. Told me over the phone entirely different buying/ selling info

A good review deserved!

I found that van I was seaching for for a long time. Everyone at the dealership was respectful and hospitable. The process of buying was simple, and quick. They took care of me. A new stereo was installed in my van, at my home at no charge as they promised me. I am greatful because integrity is hard to come by these days.

Our experience top to bottom was amazing.

Our experience top to bottom was amazing. I first spoke with John over the phone. He was very knowledgeable, and his customer service was excellent. They even sent me an appointment to come in on the day. They were closed because it was the only time I could come very accommodating.. when we arrived, we were greeted by the owner son, who is extremely knowledgeable, upfront, honest, and helpful. We went to negotiations with his father, the owner of the business and his son. The overall experience was excellent trust, worthy, and a pleasure I would highly recommend them.

SHADY deals. These cars are death traps

STAY AWAY FROM BUYING AT THIS PLACE! Purchased a vehicle on September 15, 2021 called them on September 23,2021. Yes we purchased a car as is but never did we think we were buying something that can IGNITE ON FIRE AND KILL US ON THE WAY HOME. How is it even ethical to sell a car spewing gas into the metal of the engine. They are so lucky we didn't DIE on the way home. We took it to a mechanic and this part is obsolete and there should be a government entity that should be regulating people like this. We called them and said they would call us back. I can hear frogs and crickets faster then hearing from them. They are shady and avoid BUYING from them. This was not something you miss. Sending a driver to their sudden death is SHADY!!! Avoid this place, they are shady. This has to be against the law selling something with this high potential danger. Sending someone to a death trap, there has to be a law of selling something that can catch on fire or blow up while driving it.

Perish lack of knowledge

We purchased a 2015, with 143k , during purchase asked about the maintenance done on the vehicle and without showing proof of work done continued to say yes the vehicle has been serviced and good. Well!..... few months later, and just over 2k miles, there were questionable concerns with the vehicles maintenance. So I then researched my vehicle and seen there were numerous of recalls / safety issues! So I taken it to dealer and from the concerns and recalls done, my transmission, 4x4 differentials need replacing cost over 8k. Attempted to contact GM of the issues and in process of outcome. But the warranty expired years ago for the age and mileage... so here we are dealing with an unsafe defected vehicle with major repairs expenses. So non of that information was disclosed at the dealer car-expo, and the dealer guy kept on saying we have notices posted to cover their xxx basically when it comes to the lemon laws and disclosure of the vehicle... so I suggest you research vehicle that you buy for any issues and any other thing when it comes to the history of the vehicle you buy! So people perish for the lack of knowledge and I must say we perished definitely!..... and shame on the dealership for selling unsafe vehicles just to make a buck... money should not be the motive but the quality of service you provide! And unfortunately their character/integrity/ and quality lacks.... money driven... very sad.... I wonder if the tables were turned and had family would they buy a vehicle that’s a lemon /unsafe for their family?..... I believe what you sow is what will harvest on your behalf.... First time I experienced purchased a lemon... but because I absolutely love my Tahoe I am going to have to find a way to repair and cover expenses. I just don’t know where to start! Because there’s so many issues wrong with it....

No safety inspection?

After purchase done, I was unable to pick up the vehicle from the lot for a few days...so of course was told "the 2 day return policy period has disappeared" (bad business). Obtained a decent deal on an older SUV (thought they deserved some thanks for that), after driving it a few hours noticed unusual noises (turned out the power steering fluid reservoir was almost empty, along with the oil low and looking used, meaning that the oil change service that I was told occurred recently was not complete or probably not done at all). The sound that the tires made on the highway was strange, so had the vehicle inspected... one of the wheel hub assemblies had to be replaced! (could have resulted in major wreckage), Then found there was no spare tire! or a way to stow it (the winch is missing)! I fully expected that there would be some added expenses, but not to this extent. - "As is" - should NOT mean that a vehicle buyer is required to discover major items that may be missing or unsafe! And now... the Check Engine light is on, code shows - Catalytic Converter - I'm going with the email I received from them: "If there is anything more we can do to make this a positive experience..." They could cover the cost of the hub assembly, and procure the undercarriage winch and rod needed for the spare tire that I had to purchase! ??
