I come in for a free oil change that i purchased and i

I come in for a free oil change that i purchased and i leave with a $805 bill. The vehicle check for $289 is a joke. I was not even give a check list of the work. 18,000 miles on my 430i and was forced into a 20,000 mile service. I was first given a price of $1,500 probably to make the 805 look good. My car will be out of warranty soon and i will not be using BMW monterey service dept again!

Dealer added $1,000 to the price for PermaPlate.

Dealer added $1,000 to the price for PermaPlate. This stuff is just wax and wears off in a couple of months. It offers no more protection than the clear coat that all auto manufacturers put over paint at the factory. Dealer made me sit through a 15-minute hard sell from the finance manager on extra insurance. I told him several times I was not interested in any additional insurance, but he just kept pushing and pushing. Incredibly irritating.

Leasing a new car was very smooth and easy. Dealership was organized and there wasn't any wasted time. Sales person - Joseph - was very patient in explaining the features of the car on delivery. I would recommend BMW of Monterey, and Joseph, without reservation.
