Do not trust the service department

The service department will lie to you. You take your car in for it wouldn’t start one time and you tell them that it’s probably because your brake pedal was hard and wouldn’t move to hit the switch because your brakes have been acting weird. So they tell you that their is a $167 fee to diagnose the problem and if they find the problem you don’t pay it. Well there was a vacuum leak in the brakes and they fixed it. When I got the bill it had the diagnosis fee on it. I said I was told that the fee would be dropped if they fixed the problem. Well they did on the brakes but they separated the car not starting from the brakes and said the fee was for it not starting because they said that my battery ground had high resistance lol. Which I know it doesn’t because I just got a new battery and that was all checked the day before. And because I denied them from putting a new cable on it they charged me the fee. Also by the way $350 to put a new ground cable on is kind of pricy for 10 min of work with a $20 max part. So they wouldn’t wave it even after the guy working with me lied about what he said when he was in front of his boss. The worst part is its not about the money it’s about being lied too. You move to a small town thinking that people are honest but I guess I’m wrong. But I know that I will not be returning there.

The sales department is great. Doug Looper is the best sales person I have ever worked with. My wife and I have bought 5 cars from him in the past 7yrs. One thing that is not great is the service department. They really need an overhaul. Took my wife’s car in for service and they recommended both air filters be changed, one was just installed and the other is a K&N air filter. Also listed there are leaks but did not say they topped of levels or where the leaks exactly are.

This dealership is by far the worst.

This dealership is by far the worst. The service dept. is useless ! They are way over priced on service not performed, I am retired GM & will be notifying the complaint dept. about this dealership !!! Enough said.

BEWARE OF SERVICE DEPARTMENT

I purchased a new 2021 Tahoe High Country last year and the buying experience with Tim was great. BUYERS BEWARE OF SERVICE DEPARTMENT. They advertise free oil changes. So everyone should be aware I towed my 2021 Tahoe in for battery issues (strange as it’s new) i didn’t expect to leave my vehicle but before I knew it they had it in the shop and putting me in a loaner. That smelled of cigarette smoke. I had left all my personal items including my wedding rings I had off and out to take to get sized the following day. I get my vehicle back after 5 days with no explanation to why my NEW battery is no good and to find they STOLE MY WEDDING RINGS. Someone in that service department is a thief. Make sure you take your belongings out if they’ll even let you. Brent needs to take a class in customer service. He must have miserable with life and his job must be awful or maybe he’s the one the one that stole my wedding rings? They’ve been reviewing tapes for 2 weeks. I’m certain I wont get them back but I’m also certain I will tell everyone I know your service department steals!!!! Shame shame on you! Billboards to follow!!!

Called on a car listed by Carlen was headed to buy it and sales manager removed it from listing. Not what I would call good business nor how to influence a sale sales manager would have to improve to be bad.

Not one to post negative stuff but took my car to Carlen...

Not one to post negative stuff but took my car to Carlen Chevrolet today for an airbag recall and they cracked my dash in 4 different spots they didn't even tell us they did it when we picked it up took it back and they said it's not their problem to fix so guess I will just be out how ever much it cost for a new dash so if you have a recall on your airbags I suggest you find someone else to do it

Have bought several vehicles from this dealership through Doug Looper. Service department is great at repairs after an accident?especially difficult paint jobs! Always been completely satisfied with this dealership.

Highly recommend them for any vehicle purchase. Salesforce is good and knowledgeable. The dealership also provides free oil changes for life, with purchase of a new vehicle, which is a big selling point.
