Benson's has a small but friendly, knowledgeable hometown staff. Maybe that's why it made all the difference to me during my recent car shopping adventure. First: No pushy salespersons. This is the way I remember car dealerships were like 30 years ago. Second: The folks are friendly, helpful, and committed to work within your budget by, first, being honest. (Heck, they want me to be a returning customer, so there's every reason here to be transparent and ethical.) I purchased a used, late-model GM EV from Benson's; it was in excellent, near-new condition (and with apparent TLC put into the interior and exterior work by the service and detailing crew.). Another thing I liked: Benson's was willing to negotiate and honor my budget. I can sincerely say that I drove away with a very good feeling with the selection and buying process and with everyone I met at Benson's Chevrolet. I believe Benson's to be a 5-star business with old fashioned Vermont hometown heart and values.

Fail my state inspection, was ask to replace my brake rotors and pads and to buff my headlights to pass. I had just replaced my brakes and rotors last year. I was not willing to pay $500.00. Found a better place.

From the moment we walked through the door, to the completion of the sale of the car we came too see, we were treated not as dollar signs, but as fellow human beings, I am sure they were happy to make the sale, but we in no way felt pressured to spend more, and that is quite refreshing. We felt each person we talked with was quite talented, in both their given tasks, and in their people skills. We drove over an hour, from our home in Thetford, VT, and found the experience well worth the (beautiful) drive. Thank you to all who served us. Doug and Valerie Miller
