First dealership experience

I was purchasing a new vehicle for myself and searched for an SUV on car gurus and sent Max Dye an email about a vehicle I wanted to look at! Chad was amazing. He wasn’t pushy and didn’t rush me to come see the car! We kept in contact for a little over a week and I finally came and looked at it! He made the buying process so easy! I would go back when it’s time for another new vehicle!!

Used car purchased

Excellent experience purchasing a used car. Test drove many models with no pressure whatsoever to purchase. Decided on what I wanted and I got the deal I was looking for. Next time I need a vehicle I will use them again.

The Absolute BEST Buying Experience

Wow. Just WOW. We were in the market for an Expedition and found one at Max Dye and did the majority of our negotiating over email with Chad. He was friendly and straightforward. We felt confident enough to drive the two hours down to make the purchase. Chad was unfortunately out of town but we were greeted by Kenny, who was incredibly nice. I took the car for a test drive while they checked out our trade in. We had negotiated $5100 for the trade over email but after inspection of our car, they came back at $4100, still higher than others had offered us. We had secured our own financing prior to coming down but they had done some more digging on our behalf and were able to offer us an even lower rate! Dan worked with my partner on all the paperwork and was fantastic. While I waited with both of our kiddos in tow (3 years old and 1 year old), the original owner’s son, Mike Dye chatted with me about our kids and my work. Once the paperwork was signed, Max Dye HIMSELF, took our tags off and helped us get the temp tag on our back windshield. As we were making sure we got the car seats out of our old car, I made a joke to Mike about how gross they were from the kiddos snacks and he grabbed them and took them back to vacuum them out for us! Are you kidding?! We drive off in our new ride and realize we left our garage door opener in the old car (this is the second time I’ve done this, lol). We turn around and pull back into the dealership and none other than Max himself comes out with our garage door opener. I can’t tell you all enough how ENJOYABLE this buying experience was. This dealership is full of family and makes YOU feel like family. Respectful, friendly, and above all, honest and full of integrity. Will send anyone and everyone I know to you all, thank you!!! Our family is so happy (and much more comfortable) in our new car!

Great Experience

We shopped all over but came back to Max Dye. We found that other car dealerships lure you in with great internet prices but once you are there, it does not pan out so well. The experience has always been great from the sales to the service. The sales department is very upfront with a good balance of not being too pushy but very knowledge and willing to answer all your questions. We enjoyed working with Chad. He spent a great deal of time making sure we were well oriented with our new purchase. The other great part of purchasing from Max Dye is having such an efficient, helpful service department. Steve has always taken great care of us. The owners are also very friendly, helpful and personable.

Terrible experience

My 2007 Jeep Compass was making a squeaking noise from the engine compartment that the last mechanic was unable to fix so I brought it in to Max Dye on 08/29/2018. They diagnosed the problem as a bad Powertrain Control Module (PCM). Since these are expensive, I asked if they were sure this would solve the problem, since I had recently replaced the alternator, serpentine belt, idler pulleys, etc. without eliminating the squeak. They assured me this would solve the problem and said the PCM has a two-year parts and labor warranty. Mike Dye even said he would personally oversee the job. After replacing the PCM, I was then told that the new alternator also had to be replaced. They encouraged me to buy a new one from a local dealer even though the new one was still under warranty but agreed to let me get a replacement for the new alternator. I sent the part back for a replacement and the company sent a new one no charge, no questions asked. My car was still in the shop at Max Dye during this time. The Jeep was finally ready on 09/07/2018, and I was presented with a bill several hundred dollars more than the original price. The squeak is still present and becoming more frequent, and the alternator light started coming on again this month. They refused to service the vehicle correctly, saying that this was a separate issue. Mike did not keep his word with me. I would avoid them.
