well, it's bee several months since I wrote the above review, still no problems with my rendezvous. This just goes to show how distrustful Eynon Buick was in my particular case. The electrical problem listed in the first review was initially estimated to be around 6 or 7 hundred dollars and with research on line I found my vehicle has a common condition with the ABS and Trac Control system that a $30 wiring harness can fix. Again, the dealership should have know that but still estimated what they did. Again, don't trust them to fix your trashcans.

know a little about your car and trust no one

I have waited two weeks to write this review just to be sure everything I wanted to say would prove to be true in as far as how my vehicle performed. I took my 2002 Buick Rendezvous to them with a list of things that were not performing correctly, and they included electrical problems, a severe engine miss that started out a minor and turned into a severe problem two days before I took it in. I also told them I had replaced all ignition wires with the exception of one. That ignition wire was on cylinder #1 and I could not get to it. I left the new wire along with a note explaining what ever work they did to please install the new wire. I also told them if possible to look into the fuel gauge, it was not reading correctly. The morning they pulled it into the garage I received a call informing me that the engine had a leaking cylinder head on the #1 cylinder and that was why the engine was missing and running so poorly. To repair or replace the engine would cost around $3000.00 regardless of the method of repair I chose. To their credit they advised men not to put any more money into it as it did have over 150k miles on it. I was also told that even if I put stop leak into the coolant system the problem with the head gasket would persist and the engine would become non repairable. I told them I had not had to replace any coolant fluids so I could not understand how they could state I had a ?BLOWN HEAD GASKET?. I told them to stop working in the car and I would pay the inspection fees and come pick it up. I took rather I drove the car to a friend of a friend who does a little work in his home shop. Upon arriving, he put the vehicle on the rack and told me it was not leaking any fluids. I asked him to continue to go over the things I had asked Eynon Buick to look at and he agreed. He ran the vehicle for another 2 hours on his rack and still no leak. He dropped the vehicle down, did the proper way of looking at the spark plug wires by tilting the engine forward and found the ignition wire on cylinder #1 was burned completely through. He pulled the plug; it too was fouled due to the faulty wire so he cleaned it and put it back into the engine. When he restarted the engine he stated it purred like a kitten. He also checked and fixed the faulty electrical problem. Total bill, $100.00, not the $3000.00 quoted by Eynon. No stop leak was placed into the coolant system and I haven?t had to add any coolant to date. Two weeks later my vehicle STILL RUNS GREAT and I saved $2900.00. I hope Eynon figures out who I am and calls me when they see this review. It will be FUN talking to them.

We have looked to see who you are so we may talk to you as you asked. Our service has built this dealership and we would love to correct any problem you have with our service. We cannot find a town called Lake Ariwel in this state. We would hope you are not making this story up because we are sure if you were honest and did have a problem you would know its Lake Ariel if you really live there. Even then we still can not locate any such problems. Hope your car is running well and good luck with it in the future.
