What a great place and nice guys! .... This was the most pleasant and friendly experience selling (and soon buying a car) that I have ever had. I love cars of all kinds, but I usually do not like buying or selling them. William and Fred (the owner) were so helpful and attentive that it was almost fun to go through the sale process! Wow, everybody should go there who needs a car!!

Just sold my son's car to Duncan Motors. Fred Duncan was a pleasure to deal with. Honest, fair, Fred went out of his way to help make the deal. It is clear that they really care about their reputation. Considering my experience, I would trust them completely. They made it easy for me. If only more car dealers were this way it would be wonderful! Thank you Duncan Motors!

I had an offer from cars.com but when I arrived, he looked at the car and said that it was too dirty for him to buy so he was going to have to get it detailed and as a result he lowered his offer by by over $1900. I drove 40 miles to get there and then had the rug pulled from under me. Terrible customer service. Would never go back again.

Called Fred to inquiry about a 2007 jeep grand cherokee purchase. Negotiations with him were completely satisfactory. Orlando coordinated and completed the sale of this jeep to me. Everything done over the internet or phone. I flew into San Jose and he picked me up in the jeep. It was better than anticipated and I am completely satisfied with the purchase This may have been the best used car purchase experience in my 50 year history of buying cars. A few issues came up but all were solved easily by them. Great guys to deal with too -- that's a plus.

Orlando helped me out, and was great with communication and being reasonable with the car. The car wasn't perfect, but he addressed the issues and fixed them. Left with a car with 4 new tires, and an alignment. Some may say dealerships should do this prior to selling the car, and I agree. But they are ultimately a business. Where they can get away with things they will. Do your research, and dont be afraid to ask for what you want.

My car i got here was overpriced to the Max. Tires were worn out , headlights were out, baterry was bad. Got it fixed for me while i had to take day off work since i work 24/7 . After his mechanic "fixed" the problem i drive off and for no reason at all one of my headlights was on and had to turn around to show this guy fred and he said he should read the Manuel and he see's no problem with it when clearly there is a wiring issue and i wanted to return the vehicle but he kept acting like he would help me fix it but wanted me to drop the car back off for a few days and i ain't got time for that, and he just didint car nor wanted to understand the inconvenience this was for me. And he even told me to get out of his place and disrespected me just because he didint want to give me anything for the inconvenience. I don't recommend Buying a car from here!! Please trust me this Guy Fred will try to play you.

I had an offer with this dealer through cars.com. I called several times to make sure that the offer is valid since I was gonna drive for 40 miles where they are located. From the moment I arrived I doubted that I will get any good deal since it was one those small dealers just like when you compare Macy's department store to a dollar store or tree! Anyway, after Mr. Expert ran his diagnoses, he said that my car was damaged and need a lot of work, which is not true, since he had the vin# already and knows everything about the car! so Unfortunately, I had to drive back with nothing since he didn't commit his offer! Overall, I don't not recommend this dealer for anything and make sure you do your research before you head to this dealer!

Just wanted to share my experience with Fred Duncan of Duncan Motors in San Carlos. Very professional, and efficient. I was able to get his original bid increased to the price point I had set. I would recommend Fred and Duncan motors to others.

Fred was really nice and patient with me I was selling them two cars and I was looking for the best deal. To be perfectly honest one of my cars wasn't in really good shape the other one was. But he managed to get me a good price on both cars. I was really happy with the buying process. He was quick took about 15 minutes. And he cut me a check. I would recommend Fred any day of the week if you're looking to sell your car. Because he's pretty straightforward and he's only going to tell you what you already know.
