What was the point of an appointment when I had to wait

What was the point of an appointment when I had to wait for 1.5 hr for an oil change. Nobody knew anything about my vehicle when I returned to pick it up and I had to wait even longer. Was given wrong keys. No snacks! Not the Toyota experience I am accustomed to.
