Don't post to sell vehicles if they aren't ready

He said they would finance me if I paid 40% down and then wouldn't get the truck ready in time for me to pick it up when I had the money and needed it. Makes me worry about the safety of the vehicle if I can't take it without going through the shop. I live 700 miles away and that could be an issue.

I was sold a car with a bad headlight, no problem.

I was sold a car with a bad headlight, no problem. I bought a breaker and it started working. For about 3 weeks I drove the car less than a mile per day with no problems. I drove a long distance and my car almost caught fire on the freeway. after pulling into the nearest mechanic shop they told me I had absolutely no coolant. According to "the owner" this was my fault, because I should have noticed a temperature warning. I had no warning on my dashboard, probably because the sensor was disabled or no longer working (just like the headlight). According to "the owner" I also went about things the wrong way for posting my previous review. Basically I was punished for writing a review. according to "the owner" it was also my fault because I should have noticed the problem sooner. (Because it takes less than 1 mile of driving to heat your engine.) meanwhile it takes them almost 1 month to get my pricing on an engine. I got the good old "military discount" after returning from a deployment and now I am financially ruined because of this dealership. Great job taking care of soldiers R & D. Now I don't have a means of travel to make it to my next deployment.

Cornerstones of community

I can't say enough about this dealership. They have made an incredible changed in the lives of many. They are humble people just like you and me. I have never seen used car dealership treat people with such respect. They truly care about their customers. And even when things get off to a rocky start they do everything in their power to make things right. I bought a car from them I never dreamed I would own. It had a few mechanical issues that had to be sorted out. But that was all taken care of. Even after paying off my car. They were there to assist. When I needed a mechanic after running over a hog they sent me to someone that could help. Rosie keeps her eye open for my next car. And possibly live a little vicariously through my exploits. These guys give their Community tools needed to succeed and the encouragement to be courageous in doing so. They are stakeholders in our community. an example of that best practices for private owned businesses. Their spirit of willingness and can-do attitude is one of the things that make Austin great. I'm sure they'll be around for years to come. Happy New Year

It's been a year...

It's been a year since I purchased my 2013 Nissan Altima. I waited in order to give a fair review. When I was shopping at their dealership, I liked the car, but there were some problems with the car, I.e.: AC not cooling, funny sound from the rear,. Paint chipped in places, and an idiot light came on just after purchase. They explained that they hadn't had the car but a few days, and would take care of everything. Since nothing seemed that major, I trusted them and bought the car. Rosie in the front office bent over backwards for us to get everything fixed: they replaced the AC with a brand new one, installed 2 brand new tires, touched up the paint. But the idiot light keeper coming back on. I must have taken it in to them a dozen times. Since the repair required disconnecting the battery, which also reset the light, and the problem had a bunch of things it could've been, it was trail and error. The entire time, every single employee was courteous, friendly, and dedicated to resolving the problem. I'm sure I was becoming a pain in the butt, but I was never made to feel that way. And Rosie was a super trooper, as her father became extremely ill and had died during this time, and she still did a wonderful job. I wouldn't have been able to cope and still be cheerful like she was, if I had been in her shoes. The problem was finally fixed, and my car has ran perfectly ever since. Only problem I could see was the dealership was quite small, and it might be limiting their business (they do have a second location, but I never went there). I have and will continue to recommend this place to others. Thanks for the great car guys! (And Rosie needs a raise, she's your Wonder Woman there.🙂)

Too bad they do not report to the credit bureau

If you pay off your vehicle successfully..it will not help your credit because they do not report to the credit bureaus. Refinancing your loan is the way to go..if possible. Other than that...it was a stress free buying experience. Make sure you get your car looked over by a mechanic before you purchase it..i wish i had.

So far so good

My first visit today ever to look at a vehicle with these folks. Always shopped at a regular dealership or private sellers until now. Never thought I'd stop by a small lot, non-dealership place. But, if the rest goes as well as today, I will be buying a car from them and they will be on my "stop by" whenever I am looking in the future. Nice guys, don't overlook them. I'll check back in whichever way it goes. ps "facilities" gets "average", but that's not why I buy a car. If you do, then go enjoy the Lexus dealer place and get a free bottle of Periere. I'm certain it's not built into the price :-/
