They literally sold the car I was buying to another buyer

They literally sold the car I was buying to another buyer while my deal was in process. It was very clear I was buying the car, we had; * Reviewed & accepted preliminary numbers, and ...decided to move forward, * Credit app was done and approved, * Loan was approved, and * Salesperson was finalizing the papers. BUT THEN... the salesperson says he is still finalizing the papers but FYI, someone was test driving the car! WHAT? WHY? I am buying the car, I'm just waiting for the final papers. Why would they let someone test drive a car that I was clearly buying. Next he says; they bought the car. I do not understand, how is that possible. Everything was done! Just waiting for the final papers, the last step in this miserable process. They tried to justify what they did by saying: * they do not hold cars, * they do not take deposits, * it was taking to long cuz the first conversation between them and myself was 5 days prior... and thats true, and if someone walked in and bought the car then, that was fine, but it didn't happen 5 days ago, it happened after they ran our credit and got the loan, after they got all our personal info... it happen while I was waiting for THEM to finish the final papers. How would you feel if you were sitting there waiting for them to bring out the final papers after you been through all the worse part of buying a car, and they walk out and say oh btw we sold the car. How does that happen? I believe that's a breach of contract, because we gave them permission to do a hard hit on our credit and got the loan approved and had come to a verbal agreement, so breech of an oral contract, also "no-intent to sell, or even fraud, from what I read, all things I could possibly legally pursue, but I wasted time on them. So PLEASE be careful ! They had all of our personal info, Picture IDs, SS#s ...everything. They can dispute this if they wish but I have all the messages, I have no reason to make this up. I posted this because I want people to be careful, do not fall for their "52 years reputation" speech. Please don't fall for that.

Zack and the team were absolutely amazing!

Zack and the team were absolutely amazing! They work with you and truly believe in finding the best vehicle for you and your checkbook! I love my new Traverse and all the features; which Zack took time to make sure I knew how to use and that everything was set up before letting driving off! Not my first rodeo with dealerships/leases/purchases, but by far the best experience I’ve had. I would recommend them as a first pick. If they don’t have it, they can get it! You wont be disappointed.

I had not had a car available for my use since December

I had not had a car available for my use since December 3 because I was working with Capital Honda of Okemos and they were doing nothing for me. I contacted Shaheen at 11 o'clock on Thursday, December 26, and I was driving home the car I purchased at 20 minutes after 4. I first spoke to Ashley via a phone number displayed on the internet. She was a very pleasant person to deal with. She transferred me to salesperson Jacob Haner who got right on the job. The Shaheen used Honda inventory showed 3 Honda Civics, two with $20,000+ prices and one at $9,999+. The $9,000+ was my price range. It was a 2008 with 50,000 miles on it. Wow! I described it to Jacob and he looked to see whether it was still available. It was. He drove to my residence in Eaton Rapids to bring me to the Shaheen sales office in Lansing to take care of the paperwork. After finishing the necessary paperwork with Jacob, I completed the purchase with Ryan. Both these men worked competently and courteously with me. I traded in my 2002 Civic with 230,000 miles on it. If this one lasts me like that one, I will not need another car being 81 years of age. However, if I do need another Honda, I will not waste my time with any other dealers. I am sold on Shaheen and I will confidently and cheerfully recommend the agency to anyone who asks about my present purchase.

I recently purchased a used car from Shaheen Chevrolet.

I recently purchased a used car from Shaheen Chevrolet. My salesperson Zack Fouts and his manager Jeff Cords kept me informed throughout the entire process. In the current climate of rushing people in and out, I felt as though having me as a customer was important to them. If you are in the market, I absolutely would recommend this team without hesitation!

I visited Shaheen and had a very specific car I wanted in

I visited Shaheen and had a very specific car I wanted in a specific seat arrangement. Griffin was patient and focused on us the entire time. He drove to another location to try to find the car for us and ended up negotiating a dealer trade on my behalf. Griffin also helped us through the process of getting the cloth seats turned into leather. Unfortuantely, my car got damaged in transit but Griffin and team went above and beyond to get it fixed with as little inconvience to me as possible. The damage was obviously not an ideal scenario and it was frustrating for all involved, but it's in scenairos like that when you actually get to see how customer focused people are, and the Shaheen team delivered on that front.
