Buy your Hyundai here, ask for Vila.

I bought my new Hyundai Santa Fe Sport here about a week ago, and I couldn't be happier with my car. I used the USAA car buying service, and they gave me the names of 3 dealers in my general vicinity that I could work with. Two of the other dealers called me non-stop for days (early morning through late evening), and it felt very high pressure. I was contacted by Vila Lind at Doug's via email, and she sent me a link to three cars in their inventory that were close to what I was looking for so that I could check them out for myself on my own time. I told her that I was trying to decide between getting another Santa Fe (my previous car was a 2004 Santa Fe) and a Ford Escape, and she sent me a link so that I could see the direct comparisons between the two vehicles which was very helpful. I set up a time to go in and see the cars, and Vila came in on her day off to take me on test drives. I decided to go with Santa Fe, and when they didn't have exactly what I wanted (color and packages), they found one for me in a nearby state and hired someone to drive it to my dealership. It only took two days for them to get it to me, and it was exactly what I was looking for. I loved working with Vila, and I would use Doug's again. Way better than Hyundai of Everett (who my first car was purchased through), which employed really high pressure sales tactics and my husband found to be really disrespectful. I also had my previous car serviced at Doug's for several years, and they were great! They provide loaner cars free of charge, and whenever they perform a service they wash your car before giving it back to you. Even for oil changes! Not to mention that it is cheaper for me to get my oil changed at Doug's than it is to do it at Grease xxxxxx or Jiffy Lube. Just look for their service coupons to get a really great deal.

Thank you Larry Peden, Excellent Service!

We had not purchased a new car in over 10 years and were hesitant to go into a dealer. My husband did a lot of research, called Doug's Hyundai and was blown away by the outstanding service from the general manager and Larry Peden our salesman. They were both very welcoming, listened to our concerns and made us feel very satisfied with our decision. Larry thoroughly explained the car before we left the parking lot. It was worth the time and travel for us and we will always recommend Larry and Doug's Hyundai to anyone looking for a new car!

Customer service is poor

I bought a car here and had a fantastic experience July 2013. Leo was a really great salesman. The problem that I have is that I needed a truck since buying a new house and I traded in my car at another dealership. I had purchased the extended warranty and gap insurance through Doug's. I made the trade on 5/3/2014 and called them on May 5th to let them know and the finance manager told me that they do not fax documents to release the funds for the extended warranty nor the gap insurance. He told me that he would mail me the forms and I could send them back along with the release form that I received at the time of trade in. I waited until May 13 and still nothing in the mail. I called back every day twice a day at both dealerships and left messages for him with never one returned phone call and still no forms in my mail. Finally on May 21st I asked to speak to the owner of the dealership since their finance manager lacks customer service skills on how to return phone calls. That of course was not going to happen either, so the lady put me on hold and I spoke with a gentleman that gave me the name an number to the girl that actually handles this process. She was very nice and helpful. Today is July 18th and I still do NOT have my $1785.00 refund for my extended warranty that I purchased. I just kept being told next week, week after week. So no I do not recommend this dealership at all.

Joseph Vail, Vice President Industrial Air Systems

Excellent Buying Experience special thanks to Vila Lind and Leonardo Rojas. Both of these people went beyond call of duty for excellent customer service

Great Salesman

Larry Peden is very knowledgeable and easy to work with. He made the process of buying a new car very comfortable. He was thorough in his explanation of the features included to a person who is a little out of date relative to technology.

Doug's Hyundai Rocks!

I arrived at this dealership in search of a car to replace my long time vehicle that had been totaled in an accident. I had been to 2 other dealerships in my search. Saleman Farid was who I worked with at Doug' Hyundai. I started looking at the used car section first, and there were many good options. Eventually I looked at the new cars and absolutely loved the Elantra GT, which eventually I bought. Farid was patient and had a good sense of humor while working with me. He was knowledgeable and answered all my questions right away. I never felt pressured and really enjoyed my car buying experience at Doug's Hyundai!

Very Happy with Doug's Hyundai in Lynnwood

I went in to see if what I wanted to do was possible . Trade in my car for Lower payments with a good car, I feel I got just that. They listened I looked at a couple of cars but was not sure so they really gave me no pressure to purchase. I said I wanted to think about it. I took a couple of days but they worked with me to get me what I wanted and the price I wanted. I will definitely recommend them to others . Larry Penden was awesome a pleasure to work with.

Great Experience with Vila Lind

Ask for Vila Lind, she'll treat you very well! Vila, and everyone else I interacted with throughout the buying process at Doug's Lynwood Hyundai was friendly, courteous, knowledgeable and professional. I didn't perceive or experience any pressure to purchase something I didn't want. She informed me of a military veteran discount which saved me some money and what I needed to do to take advantage of the discount. She even agreed to pick me up and bring me to the dealership to pick up my car, on her day off no less. Vila was a pleasure to work with and I highly recommend her for your purchase!

Utterly and Totally Painless

This was hideously painless. I genuinely enjoyed the entire process, all the sales staff were extremely courteous and attentive, and played the negotiation game in a way that was very customer-friendly. And get this - I'm actually looking forward to dealing with them for service and then resigning another lease with them 36 months from now. They aren't the closest Hyundai dealer to me in Seattle, but they are clearly the best. (I called another place and they were not very good on the phone at all. Sorry, but that doesn't play well with this consumer.) All and all, the customer experience was top notch. Say "hi" to Larry when you go in and get your new (or used) vehicle at Doug's Hyundai. Tell him AJ sent you. Giddy up. Hyundai all the way. -AJ
