5 star service is an under estimate of this sales team! I began in the service department with my old car and ending up buying a New Honda CRZ. I explained what I wanted to the sales team lead by Jeff Holley and they went right to work. Jeff is absolutely the best saleman I have every worked with and I have bought 5 cars in the past. He is the cutting edge of sales that will define a new generation of sales tactics, because he was never pushy, but instead he listened to exactly to what I desired in a car and lead me to several ideal cars while keeping it totally casual and didnt jump into the "car salesman stereotype". Through out the whole process he made you feel comfortable and actually made the buying experience a fun time. Sadly, this is rare in the auto industry, but at Beaverton Honda I had a smile the entire time. Since then I have told family, co workers, and friends about my experience. I know others may read this and think it is a placed ad, but I assure you that my story is true and if you don't believe me, just ask for Jeff Holley and Linda Azrak in financing and see what I mean. Thanks again to the Beaverton Honda Team and Jeff and Linda!

We had a wonderful experience working with Beaverton Honda, specifically Maria Benn and Randy Goodin, who were honest, not-pushy, welcoming and made our car buying experience a breeze! They made us feel special, that our business really mattered to them and worked with us on price points as well as detailed out the 2012 Honda Civic SI that we purchased. They were thorough, very knowledgeable and had excellent customer service. My husband and I have been to other dealerships in the past that were sleazy and pushy but Beaverton Honda never made us feel this way and went above and beyond our expectations. We highly recommend this dealership and especially recommend working with Maria Benn who was down-to-earth, friendly and very knowledgeable. We will send all of our friends and family to them!

I today bought a Honda Certified Used Car (a 2012 Accord with 10,000+ miles). My salesman was Jamarri Whiteside, an intelligent, personable, and highly knowledgeable young man who was expertly informed, charming, and enthusiastic about the cars he sells. Jamarri was a genuine pleasure to deal with, very patient and professional, happy to answer my (often ignorant) questions. Randy Goodin explained my financial choices very well, with warmth, efficiency and good humor. I must give special compliments to Karen Voss, who explained my financing & warranty options thoroughly and clearly, emphasizing what would work best for me. Jamarri, Randy and Karen make an excellent team, and they served me well. At no time was I ever pressured, and I was always treated with relaxed, friendly honesty. If you want to buy a Honda (and I suggest you do, if vehicle reliability is your Number One priority) you cannot do better than Lanphere Beaverton Honda. Ask for Jamarri Whiteside, and hope you get to meet Randy and Karen, too. You cannot do better. - Fred in Lake Oswego

HONEST AND OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE!! I purchased a new car about six months ago from Maria Benn, who I felt was the most honest sales person I had ever come across. My experience at this dealership has continued to fascinate and delite me. Today was a perfect example. I came in to get my first oil change, which was free! The service department was friendly and fast. I then had a question for Maria, the sales person who had sold me my car MONTHS ago, she was more then happy to help me figure out how to use my iPod with my car and listen to music from Pandora. Then, another sales person, Myke Thompson came over and gave me the chord I needed to do what I wanted. No charge! He explained how to use it and listen to my favorite tunes from my iPod via Pandora! I am so happy because I've been trying to figure this out for months! These two sales people made no money off of me. I had already bought my car and they took the time to help me, give something I needed and their honesty and customer service, I feel was over the top. If you are going to buy a Honda or a car from this dealership, you will get great, honest customer service from Maria Benn or Myke Thompson. My advice is to ask for one of them. Linda G.

I met Sherldan on sunday and he introduced me with Cliff, I have tested Honda Civic and Civic Coupe. Cliff was friendly and seems to be honest person. I can feel that he is new for sale. Good part of it, not push too much. He let me drive with very short I can say less than one exit for freeway, he explain the function and use checklist to ask me question. Later, I met Ben to help with finance to compare about leasing and purchasing, I just try to test drive to decided which car, I did not have a chance to try with another brand, Ben offered me to bring the car to compare with another brand, I feel like handcuff on me, if I do it that way, I surprised that Beaverton Toyota did the same thing like he told me also. I don't feel right when I tried to purchase the car too rush. Next day, I had a chance to do more test drive with Wilsonvile Honda with freeway and curve drive, I was sure that I would go with Honda Civic not Toyota Corolla or Nissan sentra, they had some issue on that night with the system, they need to contact the bank later, so I could not lease the car from them on that day, plus I would not get the plate right away(This is not a big problem since it is common for a new car), if I decided to lease the car with them. Next day, I got the call from Armin Roman, he gave me the price that I want same price that beat with another dealer even it less than another brand, but I decided to get Honda already, plate was ready, they did not have problem with system, and I like Wilsonevile Toyota which owned by Bob Lanphere. I decided to go with them since that means they have more branch and good enough to have plate ready. Armin made the deal with me on the phone and passed the story through Tony which was great since I went to over there, Cliff knew already and the financial manger Karen Voss acknowledge it. I did financial with Karen Voss, easy and fast. This is the fastest signing car for me. I feel very comfortable. I am still with Cliff (Never give me anything, no water nothing while waiting). I don't think he used to sell car before or anything else. Good part is he did not rush me or push me much that is the part that I like. I talked to Tony later on that day, he told me about the survey(I have not received it 1 week already) and he helped with the light swtich explaination. I think Tony is awesome, he took good care of me very well without him, Karen, and Roman, I would not buy car here. Now, the fun part begins, I contact them about check that I should get since I trade-in my car and I have some cash from it. They promised me that they would call me when check arrived. They never called. They told me the process would take couple day, I called them back, check was not ready, I was told that would take one week. One week later I talked to Ryan over the phone, he told me that he could not see check under my name and told me that could take 2-3 weeks. I asked him it was started with couple day, will it end with couple months and years. I called me back later and told me that check was there and I can ask to anyone to get the check for me. I went to Beaverton Honda, I met Rusty. He told me check was not there and I had to play voice mail from Ryan(I don't who that is now since he told me there was no Ryan with Beaverton Honda) Really play voice mail to get check, what if I don't have it on my voice mail. Finally, I got check and I met Cliff since I forgot some CD from my old car and he told me that I could ask from anyone to get them (No luck for that since no one can provided them to me) I told him about trade-in check story, the respond from him was "Sorry, but you got your check on your hand now" That explained to me that he did not care about customer at all at this point. I recommend to buy car here, if you meet the right person and you want get everything done

Jamarri is a very honest, patient, non-pushy, and articulate sales person with a great sense of humor. I enjoyed working with him and it was (only) because of him that I decided to buy a car from Beaverton Honda (after a dreadful experience with another auto dealer in Hillsboro who couldn't keep the commitment). Jamarri made a note of all my demands and made sure that the same was delivered. I am very pleased with his work ethic and strongly recommend him to everyone. I also interacted with Linda, Tony, Jasmine, and Bill, and they all are very professional in their work. Kudos to the whole Beaverton Honda team! You guys are great!

Of the seven dealers we worked with this week Jamarri was the one we found the most helpful and trust-inspiring, especially the latter. We never had even a twinge of doubt that he was leveling with us. We would recommend the most enthusiatically of all the fine people we worked with.

Our experience at Bob Lanphere's Beaverton Honda was...

Our experience at Bob Lanphere's Beaverton Honda was terrible. Their sales manager was insulting, talked down to us and acted as if we were stupid. He thought he was going to walk all over us. Surprise. The experience started in the lot with salesman talking to us. We discussed our needs. He showed us some cars and we even took a test drive. My wife made her selection and we started to fill out the paperwork. We had a pre-approved loan with a local establishment at 2.7%. Salesman said it was no problem. Let me state here that my wife is a manager in a title company and knows forms, numbers and money. I am a retired systems analysis and worked in the financial sector for 30 plus years . The salesman introduce his boss (as described to us) and things went down hill from there. This so called boss had papers that had interest rate of .9% and a monthly payment of $100.00 more then the pre-approved loan of 2.7%. My wife started to ask question about what was on the paper and things went south from there. He acted like she was stupid, talked down to her, lied through his teeth as to what was on the paper. With appropiate comments from my wife for the way she was treated, the sale process was ended and any dealings with us. Who the does he think he is. We may be old but we are not stupid. The operations manager tried to smooth things over but it was far beyond any repair. To make things worse, the operations manager and salesman looked to me to intervene on there behalf. You got to be kidding. Never been treated so bad in my life. My wifes parting remark was that she liked the car and was going to buy one but not here. I listed all sales managers so they can discuss how they all should treat people. I don't remember who he was but they know.

My husband and I are from Washington and we were looking for a specific used vehicle for me. After my disappointing search in Washington, we looked to our neighbor state, Oregon, to find a good, used car in our budget with an affordable monthly rate. I contacted the Internet Sales Mgr., Amanda B., via internet and received pleasant and informative contact right away. We then made an appt. to drive down the following day to view and test drive the car I had found on their website. We were referred to another Mgr who introduced us to our sales person Myke Thompson. Myke was fantastic from the get go. Polite, real, genuine & personable.....he did not come on strong or pushy in the least. Before test driving he made smart recommendations for me to adjust mirrors, rear view mirrors, get acquainted with the vehicle before test driving. No other salesperson had done that before...so it was a 'catered to' experience that was well received. Even though it was a Honda dealership, my vehicle of interest was a used Jeep Grand Cherokee and Myke was very knowledgeable about the Jeep, which was helpful. Myke provided us an extra spare key for our vehicle and a cable for our ipod. Car was washed and cleaned, filled up with gas, mats back in place and waiting for us after our purchase..Myke saw us out and made sure we had all of our answers we needed. Everyone went the extra mile, no pun intended! It was quite fun driving my new 'used' car back to Washington that evening. Beaverton Honda dealership facilities are clean, updated, stylish and well appointed meeting/negotiating spaces, large TV, pleasant music, beverages, coffee, etc. It was very comfortable there while we needed to wait for our great selling experience was finished. Don Holden was fantastic, hard working and patient with us; he didn't want us to drive our rental car back! Don let me ring their 'sold' bell after our purchase and all the staff applauds and cheers...pretty funny. Although we live the state of Washington, I will now include Oregon's Beaverton Honda in my searches for future vehicle purchases.

We went to Beaverton Honda to look inside the cars and possibly drive one. Cliff Pfenning came to assist us. During the entire visit, he was more interested in filling out his questionnaire checklist rather than answering our questions. When am I going to buy? What is my price range? Have I considered Odysseys? Come on Cliff, I just want to look inside the car. Note to Beaverton Honda - have your sales people put down their checklists and just listen to what the customer wants. We live about 5 minutes from Beaverton Honda, but this experience was so bad that we went to T&C Honda in Gladstone, about 45 minutes farther away, and ended up buying a new Honda from them the next week. T&C salespeople should give classes to Beaverton Honda salespeople - they actually listened to what the customer wanted and tried to answer all the customer's questions without being overly pushy or aggressive. Other salespeople at Beaverton Honda may be OK, but based on my experience with Cliff, we won't be going back and we won't be recommending it to friends.
