Exceptional Service!

Service Manager Gregory Gain saved the day for us when we experienced a computer problem with our 2021 Suburban while travelling home to Montana from Oregon. This occurred on Friday August 13th, 2021 and could have easily delayed us by at least three days, but Greg got our vehicle into the shop immediately and completed the necessary re-programming to get us back on the road. Exceptional service like this is rare, to say the least, and we are more than grateful for Greg's generous assistance with a major problem far from home. Our sincerest thanks to Greg and Smith Chevrolet for their exceptional customer service!

I?m happy!!

I?m amazed every time I take my truck into Smith Chevrolet! They help me understand every procedure they are doing. They provide me with a ride home, if my truck needs more than an oil change. They always keep their time appointments. They always seem to remember my name? I?m treated like a customer they want to keep.

Unhappy, unsatisfied, lied to customer

They sold me 2 lemons in 3 weeks. They refuse to make it right. They lied repeatedly. Worst company ever! DON'T BUY A CAR HERE

Smith Chevrolet Really Took Care of Me

I took my truck in for a couple of recalls. It was very painless, and the facility is very clean. I enjoyed my visit so much that while I was there, I traded my truck in on a Tahoe. Well done Smith Chevrolet, and Ron Brown (my great salesman).

Poor Customer Service

I bought my car from Smith Chevy in 2016, with 400 miles on it. A few months later, I went in for an oil change (you get the first few free) and when I picked up my car, I noticed I had been billed for an oil pan cap. They then began telling me that mine was stripped and needed replaced.. which blew me away that I had to pay, considering they were the ONLY dealers to have ever change my oil. An argument later, that was removed off my bill. Later that year I took my car in for another oil change. I always have them fill all my fluids when I go in. I left, and 2 days later when I started my car and headed for work, my car would not get warm. My windows would not defrost. It was the middle of winter and I was commuting from Rexburg to IF for work. I stopped by Taylor Chevrolet in Rexburg, where they told me I practically had ZERO anti freeze in my car. I called smith and they REFUSED to give me a refund. Last month, I took my car in because my radio had been shorting out. After 1 month of my car being in the shop EVERY Saturday, Greg in service told me there was nothing he could do for me because they could not find a problem. I argued for a while, and he finally said he would talk to someone and see if they could replace my radio. He told me Saturday he’d call me on Monday. Well, here we are THURSDAY. No call from Greg. The service at Smith Chevrolet is xxxx. They are dishonest crooks. This is just my story. My entire family were avid Chevy buyers. We love them. We have since switched to Ford. Smith Chevy has forever lost our business.

Unimpressed

I recently had my 10 year old Chevy sedan in the shop, primarily for problems with the front defrost (NOT something you want problems with in Idaho winters). With all their fancy diagnostics, the "technicians" were unable to find a problem. A ten-minute ride with two or more people in 20-degree weather would have shown there is definitely a problem. I had the shop also look at a couple of other simple problems and tell me what it would cost to fix, but after failing in the defrost department, I didn't want them touching anything else. The bill for their failed attempt to diagnose the defrost and for bidding the other problems (which they claimed to "diagnose," but didn't tell me anything I didn't already know) was ridiculous. With NOTHING fixed, they billed me over $200, with no budging when I protested. I'm disgusted and won't bring my business there again. Nor should you, my opinion.

I was looking on line for a vehicle

I was looking on line and the salesman text me and emailed me saying that if I had any questions not to hesitate to get a hold of him. I have bought one car from them before and warren was awesome

Great service & great staff.

I didn't have an appointment on a Saturday for and oil change, called in and they got me right in. Quick service and great staff.
