Leasing

I was buying vehicles and leasing them for 20 years, my next was up and I was told my payment will be 349.00 a month when my new jeep came in I was told my payment will be 455.00 a month financial business man said I would not recommend going back ever again getting a new vehicle

Gene, We are sorry your lease payment was not what you expected. Lease payments will vary depending on the term, mileage and residual of the vehicle as well as the banks Money factor ( APR rate) , all of which we do not have control of. All we can control is the selling price, which we came to an agreement on with you. If you have any other questions regarding this, we would be happy to discuss it with you.

Terrible sales manager

Goldstein advertises "we buy cars". I was told the appraisal would take 15 minutes. It took an hour. I found Kevin Scott, Sales Manager to be rude, condescending and dismissive. It was a waste of time.

Customer Service

I called this dealership to speak with the Sales Director Ed Serian about being contacted by one of his service reps who was asking me to pay for a service that I had won a coupon for resulting in a "no charge". The service rep either failed to attach my coupon to the repair order or failed to enter the correct code in the dealership system. Nevertheless, when I called to enquire as to what happened. The Leader of this establishment...the Director of the Service Department Ed Serian didn't appreciate my calling and "asking a question regarding how such an error could occur"....so much so, he began yelling, interrupting anything that I had to say, refuse to answer the question, kept telling me that I "knew what his rep was trying to say!". This was the worst experience I have ever had in my life with a LEADER. It was so bad, I had to tell him I was taping the conversation in an attempt to get him to stop yelling over the phone, and that didn't work. It wasn't until I stated that I was going to inform the owner of my experience that he managed to stop yelling. No one should ever be allowed to speak with ANYONE in the manner and fashion in which he engaged. I will never get work completed again from this establishment. If you EVER have an encounter with this person! Speak Up, let his boss know....let the owner know. If he engaged this way once, there is a good chance it's not the first time. His behavior impacts the reputation of the entire establishment...and frankly I don't know "Just How Important That Is To This Dealership". The Sales Department are FANTASTIC....but it takes consistency across the full spectrum...and to have such a Toxic Director on the management team can be disastrous...and why? because the behavior wasn't a mistake. It was purposeful and intentional. Never Again!

Hello Joe , We understand how frustrating it can be when a vehicle is not working and especially when it involves one of your children and when they are away from home. We hope you understand, even though you made multiple calls to us on Monday, we did not actually receive the vehicle until Monday evening. We made diagnosing the issue a high priority and brought it into our shop on Tuesday morning at 7:30 AM and were able to diagnose the issue as the vehicle needing a water pump. Unfortunately , we did not have the pump in stock and had to order one which would not arrive until Wednesday. Our staff has communicated this to you and we are sorry we were not able to meet your expectations. As per your discussions with Fred Clark our Service manager, that arrival was delayed and the part did not arrive until late Wednesday. Once the water pump arrived Wednesday evening it was set up for the technician. We made it a priority to repair the vehicle first thing in the morning and it is already completed as well as quality control tested. Per your conversation with Brendan earlier, everything is ready for your daughter and we have confirmed she has already picked up the vehicle. We really wish we could have made this a faster process, but were limited by the towing of the vehicle to us and parts availability.

Vehicle priced higher, high mileage no warranty

Came to look at a 2012 Toyota Sienna which was priced higher with high mileage. Sales man told us that they look over the vehicle and replace what it needs that’s why they priced it higher. How do I know that? Main problem the description says it includes Lifetime warranty on the power train. Sales man says it doesn’t it’s just an error. So you want to sale a 7 year old van with over 80k miles without guaranteeing me?

AMAZING

I just wanted to share my amazing experience. I purchased a car 18 months ago from Goldstein Jeep in Latham. It was totally by chance that I ended up there to look at cars. I had been to several dealerships, as my lease was ending and needed a car. It was truly a wonderful experience . My salesman, Mike Davey was great. He listened to what I was looking for and what I wamted to spend. The whole sales team was amazing. Then I went on to work with the finance team that was also an amazing experience. You are THE CUSTOMER when you're buying a car at GOLDSTEIN. Your salesman doesn't move away from you to wait on another customer It has been a year and a half since my Purchase and I walk in the dealership to have my car washed every few weeks and every single person says hello to me -every person that I encountered throughout my sale remembers me. I just had my first experience with the service department and I have to say I'm once again I'm amazed. I know I've use that word a lot but there truly is no other way to say it. It must be an amazing place to work because every single employee that you encounter when you visit that dealership is happy.
