About our dealership

This seller has been on Cars.com since October 2007.
Howard Palmen's sons Ron and Roger took over the business in 1970 and acquired the Dodge franchise. In the late 1980's the business moved to a new state-of-the-art dealership in the western part of Kenosha. Today the family tradition continues as Ron's son Andrew continues to move the business forward with the addition of a Kia franchise (1998) in Kenosha a Dodge Jeep dealership (2001) in Racine Wisconsin and a Buick GMC Cadillac dealership (2010) in Kenosha Wisconsin. All along the group has stayed focused on high levels of customer satisfaction being a sales volume leader and maintaining a well-trained staff of professionals.

called first thing exactly 7am and asked when they could

called first thing exactly 7am and asked when they could look at my 2025 ram with 2,000 miles for a check engine light for exhaust temp sensor and they told me drop it off an it would be fixed by end of day. Fast forward 330pm I show up after not recieving a single text or phone call from them just to find out it wasn’t fixed and told I now had to leave it with them for further data gathering and they had no rentals to offer me. No heads up, not a text or phone called, just a oh yea you can’t take it sorry. I did take it and ill find some where else that will fix it.

Although I ultimately did not buy a car from this

Although I ultimately did not buy a car from this dealership, I was thankful for their assistance during my shopping process. My sales associate, Griffin, was extremely helpful - patiently answering my questions and providing me with information that I was looking for. Hopefully we'll be able to cross paths again sometime!

Had an appointment to complete paperwork at 1100 am.

Had an appointment to complete paperwork at 1100 am. I drive three hours to get there, walked in the door at 1055. I was told they wanted me to test drive the vehicle. Then they stated it would " be a few minutes to get things organized" I sat at the dealership until 3pm before I signed papers for my "quick purchase." Talked to the owner and explained my disgust with their system. He apologized and offered awarded me with an Amazon gift card for my troubles. Finally left the dealership at 4pm. Imagine my surprise when my wife utilized the Amazon card to find out it was worth $25. Nice to know my time is worth 4.50 per hour. Then I had to contact them 3 weeks later as my license plates hadn't been delivered. I called to inquire about them and was informed that " We thought you were picking them up personally. They are waiting for you at the service desk " As I said, I live in central WI and was NOT going to drive 6 plus hours round trip for plates. Totally dysfunctional dealership.

Typical high pressure predatory dealership.

Typical high pressure predatory dealership. Felt like I was about to be the victim of a pick pocket ring, not a customer. Personally I would never step foot into another Palmen dealership. Even if it means riding a bike in January. Buyer BEWARE!

The have had my truck for a month.

The have had my truck for a month. Parts keep getting delayed, then delayed again. Now part said it was delivered, but they don't have the part and not sure where it went. Reordered part. No new ETA for part. Meanwhile I am beating my van into the ground because I have to do all the driving because Palmen can't even offer a loaner when haveing someone's vehicle for a month in the middle of winter. No one ever has a straight answer and I think it is time we just pick the truck up and find a more competent dealership to take it to.

Bought my Durango in for oil change Tires and an

Bought my Durango in for oil change Tires and an alignment. Got the car home leaking antifreeze. Wasn't leaking when I BROUGHT IT IN. Took it back and need a new radiator. I was told not to go there because of the shady stuff they do. Well I learned my lesson. STAY CLEAR of them. Cost for a Radiator 1886.00 but they will give me a 10% off coupon.

Each person I interacted with from the service advisors to the shuttle driver, was friendly, and helpful. It certainly made a stressful experience more enjoyable. I felt like a valued customer the entire time.

An amazing experience!

An amazing experience! Once arrived I was greeted and given a beverage of choice. Then since a majority of technical information was completed via online portals, was able to sit down and do “paperwork” for less than an hour. For one this made the part I dread the absolute most, an absolute breeze. In addition, I absolutely loved how there wasn’t any pressure to make the purchase or not. It was as if I was buying a car from family! I highly recommend this dealership and will be going here moving forward for future cars!
