Well worth the 2hr drive! I’ll be back :)
Drove 2 hours because these guys had the car I was after. All staff was very kind and courteous. I walked in and asked for Bill, who I’d talked to on the phone about the car. They took me straight to his desk. I worked with Bill to get the numbers right on the car I’d been looking for, for months! They had exactly what I wanted at the price I needed. Drove away in my dream car. Love my Nissan Altima! Thank you so much! Be seeing you again for my next one ;)

Worth the Drive to Purchase from JP Motors!
My husband and I had been looking for a particular vehicle, at a price we were willing to pay, for several months. When we found one on JP Motors website that had recently been received on trade, we negotiated all information over the phone. Once we arrived at the dealership, there were a few things with the vehicle that were not as expected. However, the staff at JP Motors made sure everything was done to correct the minor issues. Bill, Miles, Josh and Shawn all worked hard to make sure all of our needs were met. Buying a vehicle from a distance can be difficult, but JP Motors made it a smooth process for us! JP Motors is a reputable dealership that delivers what they promise, regardless. We were very pleased with our experience with JP Motors.

Horrible service and sales are liars
I purchased a 2008 Mercedes GL 450 from them in 2017. The car has spent more time in their shop for repairs than it has on the road. I finally got tired of it and took the car to Mercedes of Sycamore. I find out today that JP gave me a fraudulent Carfax report on the car when i purchased it. I also find out that they have been ripping me off on prices of service and have been damaging the car intentionally to get it back into their shop. Never again. Mercedes of Sycamore is awesome. Adam and the service crew are top notch. Never never never purchase or get anything from JP Motors in Peru Illinois.

Excellent Experience

Not thrilled with service or treatment
When I bought my car they haggled on trade in price so I ended up selling my car directly to a different dealership for 1500 more then JP was willing to give me even though I paid sticker price to them for a brand new car. Then when I had it in for service they told me I needed an alignment so I told them ok- got home and mentioned that I paid over 100 bucks for an alignment and my boyfriend told me that my car had just had an alignment when my tires were put on 4 weeks before so I paid for something my car didn’t need. They are always trying to sell you on something and can be really pushy and I didn’t realize I had just had one done but they told me I needed it so I did it. Then I took it in for repair again and they told me I do not have an extended warranty although I have the sales paper showing 1800 for one. So I called around and found out I do have one. Called JP to find out through who and got put on hold and disconnected and called back again. On hold for 9 minutes and then rerouted and disconnected. Sent an email twice asking who it is through- no response. I called Nissan and pro guard- no warranty found. It’s frustrating. Now I took my car in today to have it looked at to see if my warranty would cover something I’m having issues with- they tell me I need to replace parts- parts are 56 total is right around 300 with labor. Leave the lot and the wipers are working perfectly again. Call to tell them right away so they can refund me before the parts are ordered. Have to leave a message. Call back again 4 hours later and leave another message. No response....just don’t like the way you’re pushed and treated here and then can’t get straight answers. . Will definitely not purchase here again. May go to Bloomington for service from now on. If I can ever find my warranty info.....
