The van we wound up getting was close in year to the one we had that broke down on us. We were very happy with the service until purchase time. When we settled on the van we did, we were darn near pushed into getting a loan out (which was not our intent). They pulled our credit 2 times with 2 different banks before we finally wouldn't supply the info for them to do it again. At which point we opted to just give them the $1000.00 we had to put down on it and wait until our tax return came in to pay for the remaining balance. Mike was not happy with this decision and wanted us to pull from our emergency find to pay for it right then. When we said no for the second time he threatened us with selling the car to someone else saying,"this van is not sold until it is paid in full and if someone comes by with the full amount befre u do than I can't guarentee it won't be gone!" Additionally, We were promised that since the vans were so close in year that if there were any parts off the old van that we wanted we could have them. We opted to retrieve the bench seats from the old van as it would make things easier with car seats currently, under the understanding that we would also keep the new seats for when our children were older and it was easier for them to get in and out with the captains chairs. We had also chosen to do this in an effort to make sure the new seats were kept nice as long as possible (which is a task in and of itself with children). We also opted of purchase rims from a junk yard and have bologna skin tires put on them so we could triad out the brand new tires I had just put on before the old van died. While cleaning out the van we also decided to take the mats as they were old and stained and again with the children in mind we didn't want to ruin our new carpets just yet. All of these things were agreed upon long before purchase. When it came down to the day of purchase, I came in to purchase the van reminding hem of their promise to permit the change of wheels and the receipt of the new vans actual seats (as they had already swaped the seats out for me). When I remembers them they were not shocked at all and seemed very happy to accommodate us. An hr later when my father went to pick up the seats and the wheels, they have my folks a hard time in regard to the wheels telling them that there would be an additional cost associate with the service dpmt swapping out the wheels and telling my father that the seats were not there! WHAT!? Further more they told my father that the old van was already sold to someone who wanted the rest of it for parts and that that person would be coming sometime tomorrow to get it (making it darn near impossible for ppl with jobs to get up there to do the swap out of wheels and recover the vehicle seats as was previously agreed). These people are two faced and dishonest, I would never recommend them to anyone and certainly will never purchase from them again!

Great car purchasing experience!
I started my first car purchasing experience yesterday and was greeted by Mike right when I entered the show room. I didn't feel like I was being pressured at all and the whole time I felt as though I didn't have to hesitate in asking any question whether it be anything wrong with the vehicle or even where the auxiliary port was. Even after not making a decision on that day, I still felt like I was being taken seriously. After having experiences where you feel as though you are thrown to the side when not showing serious interest, it was refreshing to know they cared. The next day I called in to express more interest and work out a deal, Mike came in on his day off and even stayed late after the dealership closed to make sure that we were happy with our car and everything that we had talked about. I would definitely recommend G.O. Crivelli to a friend.

Great service.
We purchased our 2010 Dodge Journey from this dealership and the experience has been wonderful. The service department can't do enough for you. We have two other Dodge vehicles and we have started them in for routine service. Thumbs up all the way.

Never Buy a used car here
I bought a 2003 ford crown vic from them and it had problems from the start. When i went to pickup the car the headlights were flashing on and off and crivelli was not going to fix it till i mentioned penn dot and how they passed a car with bad headlights. Next i told them the climate control was not working and was told the part is 700 dollars and they will not fix it. Third i asked them to look at the transmission it was shifting funny and was told no. The price of the car was almost 100% more than the book value. This i found out after the sale was done.

Yes William Did buy a 2003 Ford Crown Vic from us and it was a pleasent experience for both parties. I have spoke with him since he has written this review and cleared up the issues that he had stated. First of all, William did buy the car for very close to what it booked for I believe we looked up the kelly Blue book while we were on the phone and found out it was more than a fair price. I informed william that we would be more than glad to look at the transmission for him and would never refuse him that. The headlights must have gone bad within the first week of him buying the car or we never would have written a sticker for it, But even though the car was bought As-Is, we fixed the headlights and still offered him help with repairs and diagnosis. We are a very fair dealer, William and I spoke after this review was written and we both hung up with smiles on our faces. Misunderstanding are common in this business but its always nice to be able to clear up a situation like this one. Thank you for your Business William, I look forward to seeing you for your next car purchase! :) -Michael Crivelli
Buying a vehicle
I had been looking for a vehicle for a couple months now. I really had not seen what I wanted, and if I did could not afford it. God gave me patience to wait and get a good deal and a great car, even a used one. I went online this week and just happened to see a vehicle I would like. I emailed and Michael got right back to me. I had my vehicle the same day. A repair was needed and they got right on it. I had a great price, great service, and honesty. This is not found too much in dealerships or buying vehicles these days. I will hopefully be going back there for my next vehicle. Thank you God for my blessing and thank you Michael and team for quick and nice service, very respectful. I am a woman shopping and received a good deal not a rip off.

A FUN experience; like we were old friends!
Jeff and Lanny made my sister and I feel welcome the minute we walked through the door. As a matter-of-fact, everyone we dealt with (G-Ray, Chris & Jack) was warm and friendly. But the best part was the incredible deal that was given me for my "new" Mustang! I thank you from the bottom of my heart. It was a true blessing. I cannot imagine going anywhere else but G.O. Crivelli for my next car. I will be recommending them to everyone I know! Marmie and Mandy

Thank you for your Review. Here at Crivelli's we aren't here to push anybody into buying. We want your comfort factor to be high, no one wants to be pressured, and we aren't here to do anything of that sort. We give choices, help with decisions and make friends while doing so. We appreciate your business and if any friends or family are thinking about coming down, we will take just as good care of them. -Michael Crivelli
Great deal - nice people to work with
I purchased my Pontiac Grand Prix from G.O. I got a great deal - and great car. I'd go back to them in a heart beat for my next vehicle purchase. I support my local home town businesses - not the super giants. I buy American made by Union Workers. They respected and listened to what I needed. Being a single woman - that was important.

Sandy, Thanks so much for your business. We try to give everyone who walks in the door a good experience, because that's what buying a car should be. It shouldn't be nerve racking, stressful, or full of pressure. We try to treat our employee's and customers like we do our family. If there is anything you, your friends, or family every need; please do not hesitate to ask! Hope to see you back when its time to trade the Pontiac in. :) -Michael Crivelli
Crivelli's is good to me!
I get all of my service work done at crivelli's for I bought my last car off of them. I recently went into to look for a used car that I had seen online. They were more than helpful and didn't try to pressure me into buying. I'm glad for I wasn't ready to buy that day anyway. I will be going back to purchase a car soon. They now have a lifetime warranty free of cost on most of their cars and I thought that was too good to be true! They explained the warranty to me and I'm excited to have a warranty on my car for life!!

Liars. They told me that the vehicle would be fully cleaned and detailed for my purchase. smeared bugs all over the front, dirt all over the wheel wells. I had to armor-all the interior and use fabric freshener when I got home. make sure u ask for a 2nd key right up front. they told me it didn't have one when I got in it to drive home. salesman was rude and offensive in showroom when I told him the truck was dirty. In my face, head tilted and loud. he got angry when I wouldn't follow him to the cars outside to their "stickers". I asked for all sales stickers, etc. to be removed on sale, they added some. Salesman quotes. "I hate selling cars, I can't wait to retire". "you people think that a used car should look like new". I bought a 2010. The vehicle had an almost full tank of gas on Saturday when I drove it, by Tuesday it had a quarter tank. they insist that I was mistaken. they are either lying or someone stole their gas. They claimed they are trying to find my 2nd key....Sad and pitiful.
