Negative Car buying experience
This review is not meant to be derogatory or slandering in any manner, but simply a P.S.A. to anyone looking to purchase a vehicle. Below is my personal experience and review of this establishment. While the salesman was good, my experience with the dealership as a whole was extremely negative. I felt taken advantage of by this company. Please take a brief minute to read this review before thinking about your next vehicle purchase. I purchased a newly used 2018 Nissan Frontier from this dealership in the fall. I was mislead and misinformed on warranty information and "ancillary costs" that were explained to be a part of the dealership fees necessary to purchase the vehicle, only to find out that these were optional fees. . It was explained to be by the finance manager my vehicle did not carry any factory warranty and that the only way to have coverage for my vehicle was to purchase their extended warranty. There was no further investigation into this, it was straight from his knowledge, that the factory warranty did not carry over with my purchase. My truck had 17K miles at time of purchase, and indeed carried a factory warranty. My check engine light came on two days after the purchase, and this is the only reason I found out my vehicle in fact still had factory warranty coverage. This misguided information lead to an additional $2,000 being added to lender financing. Because the extended warranty was rolled into the lender financing, I am now stuck paying a higher monthly payment for the life of my loan. Upon the dealership seeking lender financing, I came to find out the dealership had not requested enough of an amount to cover the actual dollar amount needed for purchase. The dealership verbally informed me that these lenders declined my finance request when in FACT I was approved by multiple financial institutions. The dealership not only requested financing for the truck I purchased but also requested financing for a second car I NEVER even looked at. The dealership used this to obtain financing from a lender that was more beneficial to themselves as a dealership. I asked to speak with the owner of this dealership on several occasions and was never contacted, instead I was brushed aside by management only to arrive back to square one. I do not have buyers remorse, as I love the truck I am driving, I do however have a problem with the way this situation/purchase was handled. I have addressed this issue with the dealership, as well as other institutions without any gratification. If you are purchasing a vehicle from here or any dealership for that matter, BEWARE of any and all details no matter how minor you think they may be; if you are unsure or feel uncomfortable with the purchase, WALK AWAY.

I was originally dealing with Paul, but he was busy that night so franco had shown me the car and let me test drive it. I didn?t get the car for another 3 weeks as I was still looking around. Thy didn?t call and email me all day, every day, which was a relief.

Professional, friendly, honest
Came in stressing the car buying experience but in seconds I felt relaxed, comfortable and never pressured. John in Sales was so accommodating to my needs & so helpful in the process. Beyond that they are very honest. Franco the finance manager was very professional & accommodating to my needs. Everything was explained in detail. Everyone is super friendly like family. I never had such an amazing experience buying a car. I got a great SUV with an honest sale price. I will be a lifetime customer & refer to friends and family

Pleasantly Surprised
It was a pleasant visit to Brodheadsville Chevy today. I was helped by Paul, who was very professional throughout the entire exchange. I was able to drive away with a brand new car, which I was unsure about getting approved for.
