Overall- Good Experience

A good friend recommended Murdocks to me a while back, since then I have purchased 2 cars from Murdocks over the last year and recently had my daughter buy from you. The sales team and customer service were amazing. never did I feel pressured or manipulated into something I didn't want. I had recently had some financial troubles and they helped me out when no one else would. The Service Dept recently worked on one of my cars and went out of their way to diagnose my problem and and take care of any warranty issues we had as well. As long as I am treated like I have been so far, Murdocks will always be my first choice. Sincerely- Satisfied Customer

Great service, clean dealership, well treated

I made an appointment to have my immortals serviced and have the ignition switch recall taken care of. When I arrived I was told it would take about an hour and twenty minutes. It actually took just over an hour. I was treated courteously and the work was walk done. I enjoy going to Murdock Chevrolet, and recommend them to my friends.

Great service

Salesmen were very nice and helpful. Took the time to make sure we knew everything about our new truck and went the extra mile to make sure we got the financing we needed

Great service comfortable wait area awesome coffee

Everything went smoothly. Promises were kept and the delivered final product came in 15 minutes earlier than promised. The popcorn, *good* coffee and large screen TV make for a comfortable wait. Thanks.

I don't like being lied to

I visited Murdock Chevrolet after seeing an ad for a used car online. The ad said the dealership had just taken it in on trade. I had talked to Brandon over the phone and he was very helpful and friendly. When I arrived at the dealership, Brandon had just left on a test drive with another customer. I was then helped by a different sales person. I think his name was Billy but I can't find his picture on the employee list. The new salesperson was very friendly but when I asked about the huge price difference between the KBB/NADA trade-in values and the sticker price of the car, he adamantly told me that their dealership never uses Kelly Blue Book or NADA trade in values when determining what they pay for used cars. He did this to convince me that the dealership had paid much more for the car than I thought and thus they had little room to negotiate. I questioned his statement but he firmly told me that it was true. I expressed interest in working out a fair price for the vehicle and was invited in to the showroom to speak with a manager. While I waited for the manager to conclude his business with another customer, I noticed a large poster on display in the center of the showroom that said that Murdock ALWAYS determines the trade-in value of a car via the valuation sources of Kelly Blue Book and NADA. This was a complete contradiction to what my saleperson had told me. When I pointed out the poster to my salesperson, he scoffed and said that poster had been there forever, as if it was too old to matter. Ironically, the poster bears the dealership logo and their catch phrase "No Regrets". I determined that I didn't want to have any regrets either. I had an evelope in my hand with enough cash to pay their asking price but I left the dealership instead. I would rather pay more to a dealer I can trust than feel like I was cheated by a dealer that will say anything to make the most profit they can.

Scott, Thank you for your feedback. The sign you saw mentions book values along with a valuation software tool we use which does a better job than national 3rd party blue books at determining a vehicle's value in our local market. That is what we use to make sure our pricing is aggressive compared to other similar vehicles within a certain radius of our dealership. We've tried to explain this to you as best we can and understand that you are upset that we won't accept your offer of $4,000 on the Town & Country. If we felt that was what it was worth and what it would bring in our market, we would, of course, accept your offer. On the flip side, we wouldn't expect you to sell us a trade-in for much less than what you felt you could sell it for to someone else. Great Service.

I had no appointment but was worked into the schedule very quickly for an oil change. Pleasant waiting room. Had a complimentary soft drink while I was waiting. Quick service and I was on my way. Thanks.

The service department is new and very welcoming

I am very pleased with the dealership. I had a wire in the tire of my new Equinox. We have only driven about 7,000 miles so we were disappointed to find there was no road hazard for the tire and we had to purchase a new tire.
