GM bulletin 14882

I have a recall on my vehicle, I have a clogged pvc valve building pressure in the engine. This will cause the rear main seal to leak. Which is a very costly job. I have the problem. The service department told me my vehicle doesn’t qualify. It’s $140.00 part and no more than 3 hrs labor. They won’t fix it unless I pay out of pocket. I was going to trade in on a blazer RS. Now I’m going with the Ford Ranger.

Refused service

i took my car in for a scheduled service appointment today 8/25/20 at 10am. i had an oil leak repaired a couple months ago at nick chevrolet and it is leaking in the same place. i spoke to the technician and he said he would be happy to look at it again. i was treated very rudely by the use car manager mark koprivnikar and service manager jim condron. i brought the techs a dozen donuts and took them in the shop. i was told the owner does not allow me in the shop. i went outside to eat my sandwich a technician was pulling out of the garage that stopped for 30 sec to say hello. mark came out and said i had to wait inside the building and jim condron said i could not stand and talk to any of the techs that i was holding up productivity. i thought we lived in a free country with choices. i enjoy the outdoor and wanted to wait outside. with all the riots and violence in this world right now you would think businesses would treat customers and people in general with respect and dignity. this was the most ridiculous treatment i ever received in all my life for no reason. they gave me my keys and said they wouldn't work on my car. i have never dealt with anyone so rude in my life. i would not recommend anyone to go to nick chevrolet and be treated with total

I had my oil changed and i had an appointment for 9:00am and didn't get finished until 10:50. Thats almost two hours. For an oil change???

Service Visit

It was great. I had standard oil change & tire rotation. They also checked a tire for me & road tested my car for my perception of a possible transmission problem, which turned out to be nothing. There was no charge for these extra services. The oil change & tire rotation were part of the free service that came with the purchase of the car. I was able to wait in their pleasant lounge.

Service Department is Fantastic!!!

Received email regarding service due. Dropped car off after hours Friday night for oil change/tire rotation. Received a call Saturday morning by 9:30 a.m. that service was complete. Extremely convenient for our busy life.
