My 2017 Subaru Outback was recently in for its 120k-mile

My 2017 Subaru Outback was recently in for its 120k-mile service, which is pretty extensive and cost $1,200+. Along with the spark plug and oil change came an inspection of the various systems -- and a couple of leaky seals were noted. The CVT was one location where fluid is escaping... which is apparently a very common problem with this model (and should probably have been caught before, while still under warranty). Repair involves pulling the transmission, so it's not a minor fix. But the oil cooler gasket, which was also noted as faulty, could have easily been replaced while the pan was drained and the filter had already been pulled off... literally, a 5-minute task with a $5 part. Instead, they came back with a $200 repair estimate (which would also entail the inconvenience of a return trip, etc.). It could've just been done as a silent gesture. I've been a loyal customer for years, and expect some reciprocation. Instead, this process felt like an attempt to simply extract a maximum toll. Subarus are great cars, and I'll probably be getting another one before long. A dealership that occasionally goes the extra mile would very much be appreciated.

October, 2025. Purchased a previously viewed online 2017 Tiguan. I met with Sales, Seungjun (Brian) Lee, after arriving unannounced, who was helpful and informative. He and his manager handled negotiations professionally and agreed to order a tow cover that was missing from the vehicle. Later, the tow cover was received and painted to match the exact vehicle color as promised. Overall, I am very pleased with my Tiguan, this experience, and would highly recommend this dealership!

My salesman was perfect.

My salesman was perfect. I called the dealership before driving an hour to him. I asked about any hail damage and there was none! He handed me the keys to my car and made sure it was exactly what I wanted every step of the way. I?m very happy with my amazing car.
