Had a problem with the engine light coming on with my 2020 F250. The truck was not acting up. Called and made an appointment to get it checked out. It was worked on and I picked it up. Got 15 miles from the dealership and the engine light came on again. I took the truck back a few days later. I was told parts needed to be ordered and I could pick it up and drive it until parts came in. Drove 40 miles to pick it up and upon arrival the customer service rep informed me that the technician did not think it should be driven. My wife had already headed home and had to come back to get me, so we had an 80 mile round trip for nothing. Service manager, Mr. Couch apologized and agreed to a free oil change for my trouble. It was not due an oil change at the time, so we will wait till it needs it. Evidently, Ford was having an issue and sent a video for the tech. to watch. After several days of this my truck was finally repaired. I have since been 2500 miles or so with no issues. I hope the future will be better, because I plan on trying Swope again.

Service department

The service department was excellent. Dealership service departments are ALL pricey, but the service writer Carey, makes it worth the price with how excellent she does her job.

I placed a June 2021 Ford Maverick hybrid order and after...

I placed a June 2021 Ford Maverick hybrid order and after 200 days it still remains unscheduled to be built. With each email and phone call to Swope, I’m led to believe all they can do has been done. “Ford isn’t scheduling any hybrids”…”Ford isn’t scheduling any XLTs”… we’re my last 2 responses. Considering the online forums and FB truck clubs that I am a part of, I know both Hybrid and XLTs are in fact being delivered to customers… not only scheduled. I feel like I’ve been pushed to the back of Swopes priority list based on the manipulation of their priority codes and allocations. With that being said, I have not been able to acquire any further useful information other than in “order processing”. I’m writing this review because I’ve been telling quite a few folks about the new Ford Maverick and would not like for one of my friends or family to go through this same scenario based on my word of mouth advertising.

We understand your frustration on your order and wish there was more that could be done. It is frustrating for us as well when we have the allocation for our orders not to be selected for production, especially when they are given the highest priority that can be given to an order like yours has been.

Outstanding purchasing experience from ordering to...

Outstanding purchasing experience from ordering to completing the purchase. Every step was handled smoothly and without any issue. I cannot comment on the price as I used X-plan pricing on the purchase of a new 2022 F350. The trade in allowance was higher than expected, even considering the crazy used car market of 2021. I would highly recommend and they will get my business again.

Speedy and professional experience. Needed cup of coffee. Young lady at front made new pot at 5:30pm. Wanted some memorabilia from dealership upon 70000 purchase but they wouldn’t budge? No biggie

Fast and friendly service. Our salesman was very proficient and knew his job. We did not have to spend our whole day getting things taken care of. Very happy with my purchase.

Long Drive, But Definitely Worth It

While researching a new vehicle, I discovered costs in the Louisville-Elizabethtown area were running 2000-3000$ lower than in my local area. I was able to buy a well-equipped model for the price of a comparable stripped down version. Best of all, the dealer understood that after driving hours out of my way, the last thing I wanted to do was wait around for hours while paperwork was shuffled. Everything was ready to go when I arrived. It was a quick, easy, and pleasant experience. They even got me a lower financing rate than my credit union.
