We purchased a used 2020 Forester from this dealer a year

We purchased a used 2020 Forester from this dealer a year or two ago with just over thirty thousand miles to replace one of our F150 pickups. Due mostly in part of fuel costs. Well, our used Subaru Forester has been a good car up until this point. The transmission has had an issue and we had to trailer it back to the dealer for the lifetime warranty. So,we shallsee how the warranty does. We will leave an update after we find out more! Update 4-9-2024. Spoke with Crystal in the service department with Ramsay motors. Today was the scheduled appointment for our vehicle. We transported to them last Thursday. They were able to get to the vehicle before the scheduled time of 1pm. Unfortunately, we were correct the transmission needed replacing. The transmission they were able to get has ten thousand miles on it, and will still be covered. Which I understand and we are ok with especially since will be covered with the warranty. The time frame we are looking at I was pretty impressed with. The transmission itself is a week or more from delivery. So, I imagine some point during the week of fifteenth possibly. Then with scheduling of other customers looking at getting started around the 23. I have used warranties with other companies that took multiple months to even begin work and still cost us out of pocket. So, at this point from point of failure to point of fixed right at 30 days approximately. Which I'm very happy with. Will update further when I know further, but at this point would recommend them to anyone looking for a new or used vehicle! Well, update today is the 25th of April. I reached out for the first time since trailering the car to the dealership this morning. I was assured the transmission was there, however they haven't gotten to it, and would probably be mid next week before completing. Now mind you we live more than three hours away, and the vehicle I have managed to borrow is time to go back to the person I borrowed it from. Me and my wife both work full time jobs that actually require more than forty hour work weeks. So, just some new stress to add to our situation. Hopefully, when our vehicle is complete we can find a time to pick it up.

money is no. 1 priority

agreed on purchase price of a preowned vehicle with 2 stipulations , paint wheels and remove warning light flashing on guage cluster , agreement reached , was told when the 2 problems were resolved they would call , no calls 2 days + , visited dealership , was informed they could not sell vehicle at the agreed price because it would cost more to fix the warning light issue than they originally thought and since there was no down payment and they now had someone else interested in vehicle at increased price with no stipulations , was told i could purchase vehicle at the new price and no stipulations , again dealership confirmed our original agreement but said they could not afford to lose money , left dealership with a bitter taste and disappointment of their ethics will not pass through their doors again , hope they see this review

Very rude

After you purchase your vehicle, anytime you take it to their own site repair shop they treat you as if you are absolutely second class.. if they have to take items out of your trunk, they just throw it back in there without putting anything back together or in its place.. they are very rude I highly recommend going someplace else.

Great buying experience

I have purchased several vehicles from Ramsey Motors and each time has been great. Our most recent was 2 weeks ago and Levi was our salesman and he was phenomenal.

Flat tire

Rena and Krystal were outstanding in getting me in ASAP for a flat tire. I was there barely an hour from time I arrived, tire repaired and bill paid.
