Misleading Prices
This Dealership and maybe others who pratice this bad tactic are sadly misleading potential buyers. They display one price on their website but when you go to the dealership or question them about pricing they add $5000-$6000 on the price and call it a Market Adjustment Fee!!! These pratices are unfair and could be considered by some to be false advertisements......

This staff has a very deceptive and underhanded sales process no transparency please don’t go here if you don’t want a call two weeks later asking you to return your car after they’ve gotten your money

Oil change
The price of the oil change went up from $55-$90. I think this is ridiculous, and I?ve had other services where I was not pleased. I needed my radio repaired and they charge me $175 just for the diagnosis. I think I should?ve been told about that before they did it. I?ve bought six cars from you guys over the years since 2013, and it does it seem as if you are thankful for it. As a matter of fact, the Hyundai Genesis I bought from you had a windshield washer leak which will cost 900 something dollars to fix. I think you should?ve been responsible for fixing that, since you sold it to me in that condition. Of course, you did not fix it, so I believe I am cutting ties with you all as far as service and everything and I will not recommend you. I know how these surveys go and I know you will probably sweep it under the rug and nothing will come of it. That?s why I?m out.

2022 3LT C8 HTC
I purchased a 22 C8 HTC the process was simple and made easy by Carniche, Nic and Brandon. I absolutely love the car. The passenger side floor mat was the wrong mat and the little white clips that hold the license plate were missing from the car. I received them 2-1/2 weeks after I picked up the car. All in all the staff was great and the buying process was simple

Crap mechanics and supervisors
I took my 2008 3500HD 6.6 duramax dually in this JOKE of a place because it would not stop running. I told the problem to the whatever the person was that answered the phone apparently nothing important. Because that is what they did to my truck NOTHING. Service called the next day to report that there was NOTHING wrong? I said really NOTHING at all? Nope everything looks good. I went and picked it up and asked about the fuel filter the idiot behind the counter apparently did not know what I was talking about because he came back with a OUTRAGEOUS price of something in the ballpark of 1500 for one of the three? I said three fuel filters? Yeah it has three, psh your out of your freakin mind I know it does not have three filters. So that would have been like a 5 to 6k job. As soon as I got home I shut the truck off and guess what I turned the ignition off and BAM it kept running with the key out of the ignition for get this 9 hours! Yes 9 hours it sat at idol till it run out of fuel. Will I ever go back to this dealerxxxx NEVER. Will I recommend this crap hole of a place to anyone NOT EVEN MY WORST ENEMY. The so called mechanics and supervisors xxxx the whole xxxx bunch of them need to go back and learn how to do a job the right way. At least do check up on what the CUSTOMER said and NOT what you think could be wrong with the vehicles that come in.All they did was jump my dead batteries and it started and then called me to say there was absolutely nothing wrong with it. What happened to the CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT? I drove to North Carolina and took it in to Hendrick Cheverolet and they fixed it in a day. Great job Hendrick Cheverolet!!

1995 SS Impala Aug 27 2020
Had my wires and spark plugs replaced improperly causing misfire. Asked service department manager to check mechanic's work and was told after reexamination the misfire was unrelated to any work done that day (Aug. 27, 2020). I drove the car EIGHT MONTHS with a misfire and spent over THREE THOUSAND DOLLARS including Crain's charges troubleshooting the misfire. No solution. . I was referred to a certified mechanic who specializes in SS Impala LT1 engines who checked to see if each wire was placed to their respective spark plug according to firing order and he discovered the mechanic didn't do it right and fixed it. My car runs fine now. . I called the service department to report it a total of three times on different days and no one in management has returned my call. . I understand I'm not the only one whose car was serviced by said mechanic where there were issues after his work. . I understand also it's projected he will be let go if not already at the time of this review.

Bad experience
I am very disappointed with my past two experiences with two different vehicles. When my truck went in for oil change, the invoice stated twice that the tires were rotated and with one being a little newer than the rest, it was obvious that they had not been rotated. With my wife’s vehicle they struggled for days to replace the water pump. while in the shop they said it needed an alignment and tires balanced which was a surprise to me as they were new and had no problems before it went to the shop. On our first trip the vehicle vibrates bad going down the road and is definitely not balanced. The check engine light is still on and I was told I would have to bring it back so they could send it to another shop and get it repaired. All repairs are under the warranty I bought. Don’t believe them when you buy a car and they say you will get a loaner vehicle while yours is being repaired. You will only go on a list. When I got my paper work back it says customer brought vehicle in complaining that the vehicle wasn’t aligned. This is untrue as I never complained about any thing but the water pump leaking on a 45,000 mile vehicle. Crain commitment and satisfaction guarantee are merely words and have no actions behind them. After buying the past two vehicles at Crain dealerships I will not be buying another.

Car Shopping/CARNICHE THE BEST
I must say a big thank you shout out to CARNICHE, and the Crain Chevrolet Team. Everything was Excellent from the Sales of the car down to service. Yall does a Great job and keep up the good work. If you looking for a car go to Crains Chevrolet and shop with Carniche and the team. She made sure my day went smooth and she got me in there and out at a decent time. BAIT CARS.
They used Facebook marketplace to put a car on there that they did not have. The next week it was still for sale on fb and I asked him to take it down in messenger, he gave a thumbs up. Had someone message him within the hour and YUP it’s still available for sale. They can waste peoples time or maybe you will be the one that pics a different car while you’re there.
