This dealership had friendly staff, despite the fact that they were busy on a Saturday and only had 1 finance guy working. This slowed the process down a little, but even so, it was such a smooth process. I knew which vehicle I wanted upon going there, and the salesman, Jerry, was able to give me all the information I needed and answer all my questions without trying to sell me a more costly vehicle or any add-on features. I felt like they were straight forward and the most helpful for my purchase. There’s NO RUN-A-ROUND with these folks. In fact, my Mother and younger brother were there with me; and after seeing how the process went with my purchase, my brother bought a used BMW from them while we were there. He had a trade-in, and that process went just as smoothly for him. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to purchase new or used.

Capital Nissan I bought a car after my horrific car accident. I went with these guys after I bought a previous car from them when which I bought it they didn’t even service it!!!! A certified pre owned. I decided to do a second go because I was desperate and needed a car. My husband did most of the talking and agreed on 1000 down if more let us know. The sales man did a deal for 1500 and although I should have looked I was traumatized and just signed what he told me. He charged me 1000 bucks. After this I didn’t think anything of it. I didn’t even look at the paperwork because it was a done deal. Now 3 week later he called me and told me I owed 500 dollars. Mind you I just moved, got in a Wreck and needed to pay off my old car, pay the money towards new car, plus other expenses. I did not have the money and told him that and even told him he’s the one who charged and I thought it was 1000. He told me “oh I worked out a better rate with more down” I pleaded for a payment plan or anything and crickets. Every few weeks he’ll call asking for money. I called multiple times to talk to someone else and they all told me I need to speak wi the Charlie. He told me to put it on a credit card but that wasn’t an option. After this he had them call me to pick up plates when I already had plates. It was super weird. I then told him look I can pay after Xmas hopefully because I do have a few kids. Now I know I owe the money. I wasn’t trying to get out of it but I can’t make money appear. Anyway I get a text again from personal numbers how I need to pay money owed and it was the gm. I again called him again and his response after explaining was like look that’s not my problem basically I’m running a business and need the money! Really cold and nasty telling me it’s the end of the year and he’s owed and wants his money. I called over a dozen times!!!!! He’s not calling me 2 months later!!!!!! Why didn’t you call me when I called and begged for a higher up! Then tells me I don’t do plans anyway so I don’t know what to tell you. My advice STAY FAR AWAY FROM THEM! Trust me. And I have proof of this all. From text, call log, personal calls at 10pm!!!! So disgusted.

Price compare and look vehicle over real well
Please do your research and price compare. Look vehicle over. I purchased my 2018 Mazda CX-5 while on vacation. When I got it home I noticed the car started making noise from the rear and had a vibration. Took it too a Mazda dealership in my state and turns out the rear tires are shot and the front ones are not far behind. Contacted the guy who sold me the vehicle Ozzie and he said there is nothing they can do. So they sold me a car with the bare minimum tire tread. Now in my state it won't pass inspection. Also come to fine out the car they sold me value is not worth what I paid for after receiving all the denial from the banks. Not a satisfied customer. I would not buy anything from them if you do look it over real well and price compare. I'm disappointed they will not make it right and put new tires on the vehicle. Left message with the manager Phillip and he has not returned my call.

Stay away! Shady fees! Hidden vehicle problems.
Very disappointed with the overall experience with Capital Nissan of Wilmington. This dealership is shady. 1. Forces you to buy packages from them who you cannot opt out for (triton care $600 and nitrogen fill tires 200$) for which they offer warranty. Not telling you that the ceramic coat part of their triton care started coming off 2 weeks after purchasing the car. I only washed the car by hand and never took it to the automatic car wash with big brushes. 2. I asked to speak to a manger multiple times. Every time, i get the same response: the manager is in a meeting and will call you back. Never got a call back. 3. The salesman (Ozzie) said the car has a 90 day - 3000 miles warranty from the dealership. When I got there, they said there is no warranty with the car because it’s over 100.000 miles. 4. The car had 0 gas almost in it. Asked for them to fill the tank up, response was:”we only fill the tank on brand new vehicles. Used cars don’t get any.” 5. The car started smoking on the exhaust lots of white smoke. The second day after purchasing it. They acted like nothing happened and they never met me. Stay away from this dealership!
