Last month I dropped by this dealership to take a first
Last month I dropped by this dealership to take a first look walkaround of a Kia Sorento. Before I did this I looked on their site to see what was on the lot, and clicked thru the links on a specific vehicle to get information. A salesman contacted me, and when I actually came by, I expected to see him. Instead of dealing with him directly, even after meeting him there, I was instead passed off to another salesman, who started asking questions unrelated to my visit prior to actually taking me out to the vehicle for the walkaround. After that was done, and I was ready to leave, he asked me to wait a few while he went to get a business card (why he wasn't carrying any on him I have no idea!). When it was apparent he was delaying his return, I casually mentioned to another salesman sitting nearby that I was leaving. As I was backing my truck out to go, here comes that salesman with the finance guy in tow (who wasted no time asking me questions unrelated to my reason for coming) and then the salesman hands me a sticky note with his name and number on it. Needless to say I was not about to pull back in and stick around. All was very unprofessional, and I will certainly not be visiting this dealer again. Their lost sales is no skin off my back!

Christie Taylor was my sales representative and she was
Christie Taylor was my sales representative and she was absolutely phenomenal. She was patient with me and answered all of my questions. She assured me that she would take care of me and she did just that. I was very nervous about the purchase of a new vehicle, but she put my mind at ease as soon as we met. She is absolutely phenomenal. It was a great experience! I’m not sure what she’s getting paid but she deserves more. Thank you so much for your help and making this car buying experience an amazing one. You are very much appreciated.

We purchased a 2015 Toyota 4Runner from them on July 12th
We purchased a 2015 Toyota 4Runner from them on July 12th of 2023 and noticed that the horn wasn’t working and that it was making piping noises in the front end, we called and talked to the general sales manager Andrew Johnson and was told to bring it in to have it looked at. We asked if we could bring it in on Saturday and if we needed an appointment, he said no we didn’t need an appointment and that Saturday would be fine. So we bring it in today to get it looked at and was turned away by the service department because we didn’t have an appointment and that they only did oil changes on Saturday, so we waisted two hours out of our day for nothing to be done, I won’t be doing business with any Serra dealership and if I can keep other people from doing business with them then I will try my best. Thanks for nothing

The salesmen are very nice and I understand why but some
The salesmen are very nice and I understand why but some of them go above and beyond. The the repair shop or automotive service department. They are hateful and rude and will actually tell you they are not going to work on your car. They are not helpful with anything and they try to rip you off. My car has 20,000 miles on it and they told me I needed new tires. Brand new car and need new tires. So tell me what we can do about the service department to get what the public needs???!!!

I bought the car a few months ago and the check engine
I bought the car a few months ago and the check engine light has been on most of the time. We took it in multiple times but they could not figure it out. After over three weeks of them have no it they finally figured out it’s the gps sensor and instead of fixing it there offering to give us money for it. They never return calls but expect you to return any loaner car exactly when they want it.They are very on time until you get your first oil change done and then nothing. I will never buy another car from them. They get your money and ghost you. Horrible service department

They get 1 star because I can't leave 0!
They get 1 star because I can't leave 0! I bought a 2014 Jeep Wrangler from Serra Kia (Gardendale) on Saturday, March 25, 2023. Once I got home, I noticed squealing and knocking noises coming from under the hood, as well as fluids leaking on my garage floor. The following Monday, I took it to my mechanic, who I've been using for almost 20 years, for an inspection. My mechanic drove the car with me and said that he noticed the temperature gauge rising, the belt squealing, and a ticking noise coming from the engine. He had to replace the radiator because it had a hole in it, along with the radiator hose. Additionally, the oil filter housing had a crack in it and needed to replaced, along with other belts, parts and fluids. My mechanic bill was over $2200 because the warranty that the dealership "sold" me didn't cover any of the parts or service. I contacted the dealership's sales manager and advised him of the issues that my mechanic had to fix and he said it was not his problem. I drove the Jeep off and on for less than 2 weeks when I noticed that it was losing power and the "ticking" sound was getting worse. I took it back to my mechanic and he advised me to contact the dealership. When I spoke to the service manager at Serra, he advised me that I needed to take it to a certified Jeep dealership/mechanic. I contacted the sales manager at Serra and advised him that I had to take the Jeep back to the mechanic and he told me, again, that it was not Serra's problem. After the certified Jeep dealership mechanic performed a safety inspection on the Jeep, I was advised that the Jeep "threw a rod", was not safe to drive, and needed a new engine. He also advised me that when he contacted the warranty company to advise them of the issue(s) he found, he was told that the warranty was void because they said that someone must have driven the vehicle to the point where it overheated. I have had the Jeep for less than 5 weeks and it has been in the shop for 25 days. I have driven it barely over 500 miles and most of that was driving it to/from the mechanic and dealership. Serra refuses to take responsibility of selling me an unsafe vehicle and refuses to reimburse me for mechanic bills, "add ons" that they charged me for but did not put on the Jeep, or the warranty that is useless. Update: I tried to make an appointment with the GM this morning, but he texted me yesterday and said he would not speak to me. This morning (4/29) I went to the dealership's service department and received service records, which indicated that the GM knew about and declined to replace or repair the following parts: "oil cooler, rr brakes, steering stabilizer, alignment, serpentine belt, idler pully." When I went in the sales office to have the warranty cancelled, I asked for copies of my sales paperwork and they refused to give me any. I was also yelled at and told to leave by one of the sales managers when I showed them the paperwork from their service department that showed the GM knew about major mechanical issues and refused to have them repaired prior to putting the vehicle on the sales lot. I don't know which is worse, the GM's blatant disregard for consumer safety or his cowardice when called out for such disregard.
