By far the WORST experience I have ever had with a

By far the WORST experience I have ever had with a service department. They lied to me multiple days in a row that someone was diagnosing my car only to find out on the fourth day that no one had laid eyes on my car yet… Also, Heather was extremely rude when I went in to try and pick up my car. It was apparent she had no interest in doing her job, and my conversation with her was definitely one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had. Do yourself a favor and take your car anywhere else for service!

I drove from Montgomery to purchase a truck after seeing

I drove from Montgomery to purchase a truck after seeing it online at Cars.com. I confirmed it was there and the Cam would be taking care of us. My son and I test drove it and they worked up a sheet based on the numbers that were advertised at full asking price. Their offer for my trade was extremely low. They came up $2,000 on it but it still wasn't good enough. I told them I was going to see if I could sell it myself. We left around 3pm and kept in contact with Cam by text. At 5:07 PM I let Cam know that I had worked out a deal to sell my trade in and that if he would proceed with the purchase at the asking price we had agreed on. He replied that he would work on it first thing in the morning. I messaged him at 7:30AM the next day and told him I would be there at 1PM to sign paperwork and pick it up. At 9:22AM he texted and said the price has changed. They wanted $4k more for the truck. I was livid. I've sold my vehicle and now they want me to pay more than was advertised and agreed on the day before. I called Cam and reminded him that we already had a deal at that price and he said the deals changed. I asked who was making this decision and was told it was Mike Chandler the Used Car Manager (Cam's mentor as he had told me the day before). I called Mike to appeal the decision. He said the price was advertised in error and that since I didn't have a trade any longer they can't make enough money off the deal so I would have to buy it at the new price. I have also called Jeremy Hicks the general sales manager and have left two messages that have not been returned.

If you get one of those "Giveaway Event Mailers" in the mail, understand that the numbers in the combination box mean NOTHING. You DID NOT win the prize in the combination box. There is a second number they only check at the dealership that determines what you won. (I won a $25 gift card, after driving all the way there.) In my opinion, this is professional malpractice. I believe they are intentionally misleading people. The fine print appears intentionally confusing, so it can be understood multiple ways. I thought the winning number was just a verification code for the number in the combination box. In my opinion, this company should have a class action lawsuit brought against them. If you know an attorney that wants to take on a big business on behalf of at least 150,000 people, I want to talk to them.

One of the worst run businesses I have ever encountered

One of the worst run businesses I have ever encountered in the last forty years! Told my daughter to take her car to Opelika Jeep service department to get a couple problems looked into and also get a general service and oil change. I got her a rental car to drive until it was fixed. Well almost a week later, nobody calls us about car and so I called them. No one there seemed to know what was going on and they all had a different story. Like a bunch of school kids running the place. So, I said were going to come get the car and they tried to give the run around, but we finally got it after a bunch of hassle. They said there was a diagnostic fee of $200 and the oil change is $85. I get the bill and its $460? Very dishonest, shady people there. Beware! Stay Away! I should have read their reviews before going there. Terrible reviews and stories about the place.

The service I received while purchasing my new vehicle

The service I received while purchasing my new vehicle was beyond my expectations. Mr Sanders was professional, knowledgeable, and helpful every step of the way. He worked with me on my trade-in. I am 60 plus years old and he took the time to explain all the new features which made the decision making process easy. Great customer service and a friendly environment. It was truly a great day and I enjoyed my Friday. Thank you Mr Payton. I love my Jeep Compass.

This is the worst place EVER!

This is the worst place EVER!! Do not take your car here! I’ve never had such a bad experience than this. Took my car here because I thought they would be quick and easy. They had my car for three weeks and didn’t even let me know it was going to be that long. Whenever I called I would just get sent to voicemail or they would say they would have someone call me back and no one ever would. Over half the bill was the service fee!!! When I picked up my car a new problem started and my car was making a noise it never did before. I called no answer. Called again they said someone would call me back. No one called. Eventually I was able to get with the manager and he said they would get it fixed at no cost. Pick it up after they say it’s fixed. It’s not. I take it back to the place. They say it’s fixed. My car is still making the sound that it never made before I dropped it off the first time. I dropped it off again and still not fixed. I asked if I could please at least get a rental car. I have three jobs and live 25 minutes away from the service he refused and continued to talk over me when you could clearly hear I was frustrated. DO NOT EVER GO HERE! THE WORST SERVICE PLACE THEY WILL ROB YOU!

Women Beware: They tried a Bait and Switch on me.

Women Beware: They tried a Bait and Switch on me. When I said something, they got all defensives. Then when I tried to talk to GM, I was told I was wasting his time. He would not let me speak. He kept talking over me. When I ask him to let me speak, he said I was a waste of his time!

I found our car somewhere else because their communication was so slow and their prices were deceiving. It took 4 emails and 3 phone calls to finally talk to someone that could answer my 1 and only question. When I finally talked to them, they told me the car I was looking at was now $6,000 more than yesterday! No explanation given and no attempt to bring the price back to a reasonable level. Do not attempt to do business with this dealership unless you're a very patient person that's willing to shell out $6k over market price.

I just spent 3+ hours attempting to purchase a new F-250

I just spent 3+ hours attempting to purchase a new F-250 Lariat Tremor using the Disabled American Veterans x-plan. I drive 125 miles to come and see this and another vehicle. I arrive at Opelika Ford and link up with salesman I had been communicating with for 4 days. I ask in my communications about X-plan pricing and am told it will be honored. I show up with my son in law and ask about x-plan pricing and I am assured that the dealer will honor the X-plan price again. I test drive both F-250 trucks and decide that the 1st one I drove is what I want. I show the dealer what my cost was using the fordpartner.com website and again was told that dealer would honor that price. I contact wife and daughter to come check out the truck, contact USAA about financing and actually complete financing. I made two trips to the on duty sales manager to get specific questions answered for transmitting the monies to the dealership to finalize this purchase. My family shows up and we get in the truck ready to drive my “new truck” and I ask the sales man to find out about what the tax tag and title amount would be so I could make sure of the amount to be sent. We have the vehicle running and had just put it in gear when the salesman comes back and says that the salesmanager would not allow X-plan pricing on this truck because it is a Tremor. This cost difference would be between 7-9 thousand dollars. I thank the saleman for his efforts, inform him that I will not be back and we were leaving. I don’t understand why this dealer disrespects disabled military and retired military personnel , wasted 3 hours of mine and the salesman time and does not even bother to come and speak with us. So, love ford trucks, but, I won’t give a penny to Opelika ford at any future time. Not recommended for military personnel, veterans or anyone expecting an honest deal.
