I live in Kerrville, Texas. On February 18, 2022, I took my Ford F-250 to the Ford dealership in Kerrville, Texas as my air conditioning not working. I made an appointment. It took three days for them to get back to me in regard to the problem. The estimate to fix my air conditioner was going to cost $4,778.29. I thought this was rather high. Though I paid $155.00 to get it diagnosed, I decided to take my truck to another dealer. I took it to McLane Ford of Fredericksburg, Texas. I did not tell them that I had an estimate from the Ford dealership of Kerrville. They diagnosed my AC system and quoted me a price of $1,617.40. Of course, I went with the lower price. As of today, August 13, 2022, I am very satisfied with their work. My AC is working great! I did go back to the management of the Kerrville Ford dealership and showed them the quote from McLane Ford of Fredericksburg. The management had all kinds of excuses as to why their price was more. To include, that McLane Ford just wanted my business. I also asked why they were going to charge me $957.69 for an AC compressor when McLane Ford charged me $603.64. The management of the Kerrville Ford dealership advised me that it was probably an off market compressor. McLane Ford advised me that they do not use off market compressors. Needless to say, my next truck will be from McLane Ford! I will also be using their great service department for my vehicles!

Seamless. Professional. My salesman, Tava Hamilton, provided excellent guidance through my purchase and walked me the through operation of the vehicle. Joel Castro, F&I Manager, was very cordial and knowledgeable, and carefully explained all the title transfer documents. Kenny McCarty, Owner, spoke with me and my wife at length and congratulated us on our new purchase. And even though there have been economic difficulties as we are all aware of, there was no price gouging. The car was offered to us substantially below sticker. This is the third car we have purchased from McClane Ford this year. I doubt that we will ever purchase a car from another dealership.
