My wife and I have been a customer of River Oaks
My wife and I have been a customer of River Oaks Chrysler/ Jeep for approximately 20 years. We have spent north of $200,000 over that time period. Even though the prices are higher than many others in the area, we have stayed loyal to River Oaks Chrysler. To the point of spending $2300 for front Brake replacements (berm I pads) on my Jeep Srt (which, as previously stated, was bought there). Furthermore, we spent close to $6,000 to obtain their extended warranty as the Jeep Srt does not have the ability for a lifetime warranty. The Jeep only has 50,000 miles on it. It has been meticulously cared for and serviced. Upon Bringing the jeep in there was a service engine light with an error code displayed. They did a diagnosis and found: Both motor mounts and transmission mount, 2 o2 sensors, blower motor and ac condenser. “Over 4k worth of repairs for 200.00 deductible. Was what I was told. Yes, which is why we spent the nearly 6 grand to get the warranty for up to 100,000 miles. So, upon arrival (I got my jeep set back after 3+ weeks) I drove the car home (approximately one mile from location). After parking I noticed the drivers side fender was sticking out approximately 3 inches and was damaged. I sent pictures and many texts and at least 3 phone calls. I was told it came in damaged! They sent a pic of the car without the damage showing (however, there was a small mark that was there upon dropping it off; however, it was firmly in place. We left to go out of the country for approximately a month and when I returned and drove the car, check engine light came on with multiple codes (Bank 1 camshaft 2 Position Slow Response: cylinder 5 misfire: Multiple misfires and P1524 and a few others). I used the warranty to cover a rental car for 5 days. That was 2 weeks ago. It went back into the shop with the front fender taped up due to the damage incurred while being serviced. A full engine tear down had to be competed. Still no response after 2 weeks. This has been the worst experience I’ve had endured across 45 years and 5 states. I simply want the right thing done; However, that is furthest from the case at this point . How about maybe a loaner to use?? Nope, nobody offered this or responded to me when I brought it up. I will be heading in there to speak to someone face-to-face (which affects my ability to work which affects many underserved children and families). I will update this review but as of now, I can’t ever imagine obtaining another vehicle from them (which is unfortunate because my wife and I are both in the market for cars). To me, the solution is very simple: take responsibility for their errors and find a way to make it right. As of now, I would not refer anyone to River Oaks Chrysler in Houston Tx. If they treat a long time loyal customer who has spent the price of a house at their business, how will they treat you??? Very, very frustrated and disappointed.

I give 1 star due to my car sitting for 3 months with no updates from Mr luis the advisor who chooses not to respond to me especially the manager. 3 months in no update . Every time I take my car i ended up having to return it due to the issue not being fixed correctly or because another issue arises.

3 months and I still have not gotten my vehicle.

I have to literally drive up there every single time I want an update on my car.
