Buying a part

Ordered a part last week through Scott. Was told the part would be in yesterday and I would get a call to pick up the part. NO Call. No call today. Maybe I will get a call tomorrow or I will call him myself after lunch tomorrow. Service not so good.

Service dept.

I own a 2018 Genesis G80 with the 3.3T engine. It is the same engine that's in the Kia Stinger and the K9000. Wanted to get oil changed at dealer so called Sunset Kia in Venice Told them what I had they said no problem and made me an appt. When I arrived they came out and said they could not change oil on my car because it would have to be hooked up to computer to change. Called Hyundai dealer in Sarasota, they told me I could get oil changed anywhere. Went to Tire Kingdom and had it changed. While there walked over to Dodge dealer they said they would change it wanted me to set appt. Also called Venice Honda said they would too but had to give them a couple days to get filter. Also suggested that they get me an OEM filter . Called back Sunset Kia to ask why they would not change it. Was told that if they changed it I would not get an OEM filter because Hyundai and Kia are not the same company and their parts are different.( If u go online to buy filter The Genesis and Kia have the same part no. Same engine so they might be same filter )Then told me they would not change it because they needed to hook up to comp. to reset the oil change reminder. Told him no problem that I could reset it by pushing a couple buttons on steering wheel. Guess he got mad and hung up on me that I thought to be rude. Will write more in 6 months after Venice Honda to tell how it went. Bye the way there is a u tube video of changing oil on a Genesis, nothing special needed, if I could get under the car I would change it myself and I'm 74 Yrs. old. Still interested in why I can not get oil change at Sunset Kia.

We got the 1st oil change today for our Kia. Fast, efficient job. Free of course. Nice bunch of employees. This is our second Kia and we have enjoy both Kias!

Satisfied customer

The car was thoroughly checked out and I was shown that the cabin filter needed replacing, which I had not known about. I was offered a free car wash which was a pleasant surprise. The staff is always pleasant and patient in answering my questions. I did not feel pressured by them when I had bought the car from them. I believe I was given a fair deal when I bought the car.

Consistently excellent dealership experience!

I have been to Sunset Kia in Venice several times for service, repairs and also bought my Kia Sportage from them. They have consistently been pleasant, professional, provided quality service, and not pushy or trying to oversell. Very happy with Sunset Kia of Venice and I love my Kia Sportage!
