my corvette was brought in for the transmission shutter

my corvette was brought in for the transmission shutter that i had asked Jim about for the last three years. now that the gm warranty was up you guys told me it needed a triple drain. and charged me 1000.00 dollars saying it was a maintenance issue. i might agree if you can show me where it says you have to flush 3 fills. maintenance is draining fluid and a filter change.at best that what i should have paid for not 700.00 labor for this service is unacceptable

BEWARE!

BEWARE!! FRAUDULENT MISREPRESENTATION!! Deceptive sales practice!! I Bought a used car from Lash Chevy (March 1st, 2025), being told it was throughly inspected by their 180 point inspection procedure and everything on the truck was good to go. Thirteen days and less than 1,000 miles after I bought the vehicle, it broke down (March 14) On day sixteen (March 17th), the vehicle was towed to a reputable mechanic. On day eighteen (March 19th), I received the same initial diagnosis from the mechanic. I proceeded to call Lash Chevrolet and asked to speak to their general manager. I was transferred to Bill Sullivan and it was the most unsympathetic conversation I had ever heard, let alone been a part of. After informing him of the situation, Mr Bill starts off by saying the vehicle was good to go when they sold He then goes on to reiterate that the vehicle underwent a full 180 point inspection when they took it in on trade, as they told me the day I bought it and the reason I felt confident in buying a used vehicle. Their 180 point inspection covers 180 different components, systems on the car, from engine and transmission to the exterior and exterior, ensuring the vehicle is in good working order and safe for driving. I then ask if they for sure inspected the mechanical system and all systems of the vehicle. He again confirms that yes, they did inspect mechanics of the vehicle. He then quickly says there’s nothing he can do and hangs up the phone on me. Not only does the vehicle have fuel system failure, which was noted in the vehicle’s computer system as a stored fault code, it also has other issues. These issues being a detrimental coolant leak as well as a severe oil leak. This leads me to believe they either inspected the vehicle, saw the problems, and fraudulently sold it anyways. Or they did not actually inspect the vehicle and sold it to me misrepresenting that they did. This all coming to a repair cost of $14,197.09, on a vehicle I purchased thirteen days earlier with a total sales price of $40,218.08. I contacted the GM of Lash Chevy looking for a little help and guidance because the vehicle I just purchased from them is unsafe and sitting in pieces at a mechanic shop. In return, I was met with a very unprofessional, rude and condescending man that decided to hang up on me.

Called ahead to try to m set an appointment and confirm

Called ahead to try to m set an appointment and confirm the vehicle I was looking for was available, someone asked my name, just can think he didn’t like my accent and me being Latino, this guy answered from the sales department and told me on the phone “no, not test driving any vehicle tonight, Just get here, fill the credit application and once you get approved and has signed the paperwork, you’ll be able to drive the vehicle”, I explained him that I’m comparing his brand with another competitor since I’m not even know that much about their product, this dude not even offered us to test drive at least a used version of the vehicle, rude as xxxx and not even asked anything about me or why I wanted to test drive the car. I’m not a tire kicker kid, I’m 43 years old and was willing to drive 45 minutes after a long day at work to do business with dealership. Honestly, I can’t believe they have this kind of people handling their phone calls and treating possible customers like they did to me and my wife tonight. Thanks to him, we ended up at Mark Wahlberg Chevrolet on West Broad Street in Columbus.

Customer feedback, service and buying

It was a comfortable and easy experience. The service department was efficient and did a great job taking off the maintenance of my vehicle. The new car buying experience was also pleasant also as far as pricing, trade in , and patience in letting us drive vehicles, showing us how to use features. No high pressure to buy or what vehicle to purchase.

Mark Gibson went extra mile to help us find our car.

Mark Gibson went extra mile to help us find our car. This is the third brand new vehicle we got from him. From him to Justin Warden in finance, they were great. Go to lash and ask for Mark Gibson. He'll be sure to satisfy your needs.
