The service dept has gone down hill the past 2 years. Showed up for my 1115 appointment on 10/01/25 and they did not have me on schedule and I had email confirmation and showed them. Lady rescheduled me another day when I called and had front/rear alignment added and I did not ask for that. I was upset but they took me inaround 1050 a.m.. The service guy explained to me that it would take about 1 to 1.5 hours to do alignment since it was a different place than oil change. Also told me mechanics go to lunch at 1200. Before 1230 he told me my truck was ready to my surprise! I noticed there were no finger prints on my rims in the brake dust and should have been since center cap needs removed! None of my 4 tires had prints so I had doubts especially with the quick time. The oil sticker in my window they previously put up was still there with old milage and for 7 years they have always put up a new next oil change sticker. Now I wonder did they even change my oil! Today day after I am hand washing front of this truck and notice plastic trim is not attached to skid plate anymore;all 3 bolts GONE! They left them out and actually appears to have stripped one out and completely lost the bolt attachment on skid plate. They said NOTHING ABOUT IT! Another thing they went over nothing i had to back in and ask about the alignment and it only showed me somebody's, I guess it was mine because now I wonder what they really did do. The alignment guy before I sent my truck back came in kinda irritated and smart about getting me done and I never seen him before. Not my fault their employee messed up my schedule. One question for those who are reading this; if it is to take 1 to 1.5 hours to do my alignment how did they do an alignment, oil change, rotate all 4 tires and move my truck to another shop in about 1.5 hours? This service department used to be good but they are not personal anymore and they do not care. I will never have my truck serviced here again, where i bought it new, I recommend you do not either unless you watch them the entire time! My next top is Toyota maybe they care how their customers are treated and done when having service at one of their dealerships.

My husband told me not to go here but I did and it was the worst. Do not go here. They are bad people. I now have a leak that wasn’t there before I went there. Terrible customer experience. The worst I have ever experienced.

2018 Jeep Renegade Limited Red Flag. Delamination
Hello, I was interested in a 2018 Jeep Renegade Limited red with a grey/black interior. It's been on the lot since Feb 2022, so about 9 months. I'm not in a hurry to buy a car so I waited for the prices to come down. I went back in July researched the vehicle and noted that it had a very common delamination issue on the radio screen and also that it was part of a Mopar recall for the oil consumption. I called Jeep and gave the VIN # and was quoted $1515 to replace the radio and they would also take care of the Mopar oil consumption problem that was a software fix. So, I went there to look again yesterday. I asked about the radio and they told me they fixed it. I was super happy, asked to see the work order, because it looked like the screen was the same from back in July. So they couldn't come up with a work order or any paperwork saying that it was done. So I said that's fine I will get it fixed, please take the $1500 off the price and I will write a check and purchase. The comps of this car are in line with others that I researched that do not have this problem. The manager(?) came over, was visibly angry said we are too far away on numbers and said no. It's a really cute car, and I wish we could of came to an agreement. But the fact that they said that they replaced the radio and not giving any proof is a big red flag. So buyer beware of this place. If you do want to buy this car research the VIN on Mopar recall site to take it in and get the oil consumption fixed.

Insulting
Insulting. I asked about a 2019 Tacoma SR. The base msrp's at 43,228. Whe i asked the sellsman why they were asking 39+ thousand for it; his response was that they had to compete with Carvana and he had worked at their corporate office in Cincinnati. If you are trying to make up for all the inventory that you have that needs to shipped to urban areas then swap allocations. Don't try to punish your customers.

I am sorry to hear of your unsatisfactory experience. Car pricing is strange right now. It has never been like this before, in the history of automotive retail. We look forward to improved supply chains and increased inventory.

Took my 2019 tundra in for a fuel pump recall which required removal of the gas tank. When the work was completed I look up under the truck at the gas tank and notice the bolt that secures the tank only had a couple of threads holding it. After showing the service guy he put it back on the lift to correct. They apologized, but I have lost confidence in this dealership. This should not happen, a mechanic always double checks his work.

I had a recent experience with Toyota of Kingsport that was very disappointing. We found a 2018 Toyota Sequoia Platinum listed on several websites, including the Toyota of Kingsport website, for $50,950. We were eager to speak to a salesperson to see if we could come to the amount we needed. Marvin Tolley called me to discuss numbers. He informed us that they’d decided to raise the price of this vehicle to $53,900 due to the decision to certify the Sequoia. Raising a price by nearly $3,000 like this is unacceptable. This put the vehicle out of the range of being able to negotiate for us at all since we had offered $45,000 to buy straight out with no trades. Toyota of Kingsport needs to make sure of their pricing before listing it on multiple websites. We are ready to buy, but they lost our business after this. We do NOT recommend going to Toyota of Kingsport!

Jeff Sanders is phenomenal! He was very professional, extremely helpful and went above and beyond to answer any questions. Cannot recommend him enough. He was very Covid cautious, wearing masks, make sure pens were freshly sanitized, social distancing.

Out of state sales not a problem
I live in Ohio but was looking for a preowned 2020 Corolla Hybrid in the color I wanted. Ron S was my salesperson and was a pleasure to work with. He was very helpful, cordial and responded quickly to my questions. Andy in the finance department was also friendly, quick and efficient. They handled the paperwork so I could get the car titled and registered in Ohio. They also were very accommodating in arranging for delivery of the vehicle. I am happy to have a certified preowned Toyota. I would buy from this dealership again without hesitation.

So glad it all went smoothly! Thank you for allowing us to earn your business :)
J. Carmody
We searched on the Internet for the particular car we wanted, and one of the few for sale was nearby at Toyota of Kingsport. The car was priced competitively, and we worked through the details of the trade, payoff, new financing, etc., with no major issues. We feel like we were treated fairly and purchased a good car.
