I had done a pre-approval or I thought before I went to dealership and was told to bring all paperwork that was asked for by the lender. The salesperson said they would let lender know I was on my way in. I get there for appt. Was not met by the salesperson I was dealing with instead new salesperson who took my info and I had said I had done a pre-approval already well he continued to ask for info and got up said he was taking it to sales manager. I thought I was getting my veichle and was just waiting on paperwork to sign and not seen any veichles I was there 2 hours and then another salesperson came to talk to me by then I was done it was not what I was lead to believe was going to happen..I sent email to speak to manager gave them a time to contact me and was told that they would get back to me asap. I gave the time because it was a holiday and here it is wed. and still no call..Very disappointed I had friends that I was going to refer but after all of this I would not refer anyone.

My son took me to see Alex Keith at the KIA dealership in Bristol. He was able to get me into a new KIA at a good price.

We dealt with Justin Vance a couple years ago and got a used dodge through Kia. It was our first car at a big dealership. He was great to deal with and really worked hard to get us in something descent at a low down payment. Well a year later after making almost every payment on time we attempted to trade it in for something else. Don’t remember the man we dealt with but he wanted to get us in a Nissan that had more miles than our dodge. We don’t like either brand so we turned that down. He refused to attempt to get us in anything else. Another year goes by and we still were making payments and good on all that. So we went back again to Kia (we had a younger male salesman) to try and trade in our dodge we got and financed through them. At the time I was working through a temp agency and so we were told to come back once I was hired on permanently. So we waited a couple months and when I finally got hired on we went back to the same salesman we were told that by (younger man on the side the garage is on) He runs it all with my info added to my husbands. He wanted to show us a new Kia and so we looked. Gave us the whole pitch of them running the numbers and waiting on the bank blah blah. Just to come back and tell us that my credit wasn’t good enough. Which they knew that the first time we came in and told us to still come back. They acted like all we needed was for me to get hired on and have a little down payment which we did and then returned. Kia waste a lot of our time when they should of just told us upfront that my credit needed to be higher. I can imagine the appraisal for our dodge wasn’t as much as we still owe on it. That’s okay though it was our first grown up purchase and we won’t be back to Kia even after I raise my credit. We don’t recommend anyone else waste your time there either unless your credit is near perfect and you have a co signer. Also they refused to even try to get us in a different used vehicle. Heck we just wanted out of a dodge. But the salesman refused to even run it to try and let us get in a different used vehicle. He wouldn’t even let us see the options he had. Just a total waste of time. Bad choices on our end.

Mike Greer and TC Baker went way beyond my expectations to help us get the car that we wanted. Such great amazing people to work with. Would refer anyone to go there if they wanted to be treated fair and right. Thanks again guys.. Even the other sales people like Nelson Shortt went out of his way to help us to.

not a fair price for trade in

A most unpleasant experience. I had negotiated a fair price for a new Kia Seltos and then came my trade-in nightmare. I had a 2016 with a KBB of $12,200. They offered me $9,000! Then they switched salesperson to Nick who was hard to deal with and I found unpleasant. We went back and forth -$10,000 then $10,500, then $10,900 and then it was obvious they wanted to not be fair. To start at $9,000 was an insult. I went to Courtesy Subaru in Kingsport and got a great deal with no hassles on a Subaru Crosstrek.
