My Wife and I had been researching online for a Rav4.

My Wife and I had been researching online for a Rav4. We decided to go to Mike Erdman and begin what would be a long journey. We were sure it would take some time to find the perfect Rav4 for us. Then we met Chuck (Charles Lobosco) His personality made us feel very comfortable. His knowledge of the Rav4 and all the crazy options and packages really helped us decide what we really needed. And now we have the perfect Rav4. If your looking for a Toyota, Go See Chuck! Jerry and Helen

I wanted to pay cash for the vehicle and they wanted to increase the price. Bought new vehicles from them in the past, but they do not care about that. The salespeople are a joke, especially their manager. Toyota should look at its methods for negotiating with customers especially when they have the cash to buy a vehicle - not try to jam its financing onto individuals.

Criminal.

Criminal. I bought my car and extended warranty from a dealership out of state. They said that the warranty couldn't be found. They were going to charge me a diagnostic fee of $600 for my "3 concerns." I went home, found the warranty and emailed the cover sheet. The response: "Please let me know when you would like to schedule an appointment for diagnosis. We will need you to drop off the vehicle as it is not a quick diagnosis. You will still need to approve $600(plus tax and shop fees) of diagnosis. Once we diagnose, I will call your warranty company to place a claim. If your warranty company covers the repair, I will not charge you, unless there is a deductible with the warranty company. If we diagnose and the warranty does not cover the repairs, then the decision is up to you. If you decide to do repairs, I will only charge you for repairs. But if the warranty company does not cover repairs, and you decline the repairs, I will have to charge you the $600 plus tax and fees. When ready to schedule the appointment please call 321-453-1313." Did you notice "YOUR (my emphasis) warranty company"! What??!! I bought the warranty from Toyota. No matter what, you are ripped off. If you decide that you can fix it cheaper, you still pay at $200 an hour for the "3 concerns" because it takes one hour each to diagnose. Come on! I bought the extended warranty from Toyota to have peace of mind when it comes to repairs, not to have to worry about being ripped off. I left.

The service department is the worse-run operation on the planet. They can't be bothered to check the Toyota SERVICE Bulletins to see if any apply to the vehicle YOU BOUGHT FROM THEM. Run, don't walk, from these clowns.

They tried to lure me into the dealership today by telling me that they had a vehicle on the lot and that it was available. After telling the sales guy I was on my way there 10 minutes after he told me it was there, he asked me how far away I was and I told him less than 15 minutes. I got a text with him 5 minutes after that at the vehicle just sold. Total, total dishonest sales tactic. Tactic. Stay far away from these unethical people.

Absolutely horrendous service and sales.

Absolutely horrendous service and sales. Started at sales with the stupid “Market Adjustment” fee. No thank you! Then service department is incredibly passive aggressive. They will waste your time and tell you to go to a different Toyota dealership if you don’t like it. xxx? Don’t expect anything good here. Really makes your rethink buying a Toyota if this is where I have to get it serviced. Mike Erdman, DO SOMETHING! Look at all these recent bad reviews. I’m apparently not the only one.

If you are looking for a new Toyota, I would recommend

If you are looking for a new Toyota, I would recommend staying away from this dealership at all costs. They are profiteering from a shortage of vehicles to squeeze every dollar possible out of the customers. They are adding thousands of dollars of “market adjustment” to their vehicles, which are already expensive to begin with. If you do a little bit of research, you can find dealers selling at MSRP. In my case, I had put in a deposit, but my situation changed so I decided not to buy a new vehicle. They took my deposit, without letting me know that it is non-refundable, and just refused to refund it. Their vehicles are selling even before hitting the lots, and still want to milk as much money as possible from the unsuspecting customers. There is a reason for the term stealerships. I hope if I can turn even one customer away with this review, I’d have benefitted someone.

OK, first I bought two vehicles from these guys.

OK, first I bought two vehicles from these guys. First a 2020 Honda Pilot just last week, after two days noticed it had at least two major issues, first was a fuel injector problem. And the second was from what Honda told me that it was lose wiring behind the dash, involving the stereo. So I didn't even approve the financing for it, told Capital One I was returning the vehicle. So, tried to get my truck back and they told me no, so got another vehicle paying almost double what I was initially paying for the Honda. This one got home, found a crack in the windshield, that was already fixed once and needs the whole windshield replaced. Then there was this whistling noise coming from the roof, after driving it when I got home found out that the sunroof isn't sealed properly. So that needs replaced, honestly at this point since I just bought this 4Runner and it's worth $42,000 I want my old truck back because at least there I know nothing is wrong with it. Which i will most likely trade this in and get it back today. I will be honest the sales department and finance department did ok, but their maintenance department sure does miss alot. And yet they claim to have 160 point inspection, I think they need to work on that. All's I want now is my old truck back and never have to do this with Erdman Toyota again.

Dishonest

Dishonesty is never good for business. Telling a customer you’ll take $5k off MSRP, and then walking back on your word is never a good thing. I would stay clear from this dealership.
