Great dealership for its sales and service and with the
Great dealership for its sales and service and with the overall way they operate and treat its customers. I have a 5 year and 4 month old 2019 Toyota Tacoma with only 48,000 miles that I purchased from Daytona Toyota. About 2 weeks ago my engine light came on and after a diagnostic test was completed it was showing a P11EC-00 and also a P1605-00 code. These codes represent a Cylinder 1 air fuel ratio imbalance, and engine rough idling. I was informed by one of the service managers a few days later that Toyota would only cover the parts and I would be liable for any labor. Which would be between $4,000 and $5,000. I did receive some help from the service manager Aaron Garcia and he was able to lower the price for labor to roughly $4,120. I've used Daytona Toyota for all of my service from the day this vehicle was purchased. So, without saying I was beyond words that I should have to pay any labor charges at all. It was then that I reached out to the GM Gib Dannehower and explained the situation. A day later he contacted me and assured me he was looking into it and was going to reach out to his REP and see what could be done. The next day my old salesperson DJ Garry contacted me and said Toyota was going to cover the charges with the exception of a few hundred dollars and Daytona Toyota would take care of the rest. That meant I would have to pay nothing! If I had not reached out to Gib and DJ I would have been out over $4,100. Daytona Toyota stood by their customer and helped me when I thought the worst. I am so grateful to GM Gib Dannehower for standing up for his customers and making sure that I did not have to pay one penny. On top of all this they even gave me a 2024 Tacoma loaner at not cost to me for almost ten days. Thank you Gib and Dj and Daytona Toyota for saving my thousands of dollars in labor costs. The sales manager, DJ Garry and sales rep, Eddie are both awesome! The transaction was great, as I picked the truck out online and did the sales and loan docs online. I went to the Daytona Toyota dealership to inspect, drive, and complete the transaction in under 2 hours while the new truck was detailed for my West Point cadet son. I will be a repeat customer!

My first impression at the used car lot on the corner
My first impression at the used car lot on the corner with Charles was horrible. I didn’t know that I hadn’t even really went to the main store. They had a truck I wanted to buy, but it was the last place I wanted to buy it from. So, I was just gonna let it go. I’m glad I reached back out to the general manager after speaking with the sales manager as well, because they did go out of the way to rectify the situation. The general manager was efficient in returning my call. He listened and heard my concerns. Brian the sales manager and Candace my sales person continued to see to it that my needs were met. The finance manager Mario was great as well. They made up for what started out as horrible. My salesperson Candace has continued to be on the other end of my text in the beginning month of my confusion and concerns getting acclimated with my purchase of a Ford from a Toyota dealer in Daytona when I live in Sebastian. Looking forward to driving back up to them for my lifetime oil changes just to say hello. I’m so glad I communicated with them and gave them an opportunity to clean up the mess of my first impression. I would recommend the main store, not the auxiliary lot that I ended up at. I believe they are aware of this and working on this problem now.
