Unethical and disrespectful - beware

I set up a time to check out a vehicle shown on line at a price of ~$7900. When I got to the lot, I was told that the price was ~$8900. Although I have screenshots of the offered price and 3 different witnesses to the pricing, we were basically called liars and were told that if we were interested, the price was now $1000 higher than advertised. I was very calm and polite with my fact sharing. The owner/manager was rude, got in our faces, told us to go home and cry about it because he had a lot of other people interested. I would not trust this dealer - beware!

Great Experience!

This was the second vehicle I have purchased from Griffin. Both times they went out of their way to make sure the car was in top running condition for me, and were very helpful. They have always treated me with respect and honesty and I would highly recommend purchasing a car from their dealership.

NOT the Place to Buy a Car

These folks ripped me off big time. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE be kind to yourself and don't buy a car here. Bought a car in late September 2019. Didn't last 200 miles. Whole engine and computer system shot. Dealer was not helpful at all. All told, I lost $5,000 to these xxxx dealers.

Terrible attitudes

I went in to look at a used vehicle and was completely satisfied with the vehicle I was looking at. It was at the point where I started talking numbers that the owner became completely unprofessional. In his own words he said “I don’t need your money” As I look around at the very dirty, rarely cleaned room. The owner is a very rude old man and don’t recommend this dealership to anyone.

VERY RISKY PLACE TO BUY A CAR

Driving home in this car, it started making a loud humming noise that was not present during the test drive. Bad wheel bearings. Second day of ownership it would not start. Bad battery. I had to invest $500 to be able to safely drive the car. Bob Miller, the owner, would never take the phone calls from me or the repair shop I was using to discuss any restitution for me. I have no reason to write a fake bad review. This was my unfortunate experience with this man and Griffin Automotive.

We offered to fix the vehicle for free, but you insisted to take it to your mechanic. Bill at Griffin

Helpful and Friendly

The folks at Griffin Automotive walked me through the buying process and helped me find an auto loan with a lower rate than my original pre-approved loan. This is the first car I have bought on my own and I was nervous about the process but they made it easy. They were friendly, straightforward, and answered any questions that I had.

Would not recommend

Sold me a faulty car that has been in the shop 4 times since I bought it in June. And now may need a new engine and $1300 in suspension work. We called them to discuss it and they told us to kick rocks. Just a typical slime ball used car dealer.

All vehicles are test driven by the customer and most of the time inspected they just don't all the sudden blow the engine and all the wheels fall off. Probably not even a real customer. Bill at Griffin

Great car buying experience

Just bought a car from here and was impressed with the friendliness and service this family owned business provides. The car had some chipped paint on the driver side door handles which they took care of, taking care of this by removing the handles, repainting them and remounting them, which is the best way to handle this repair. Two days after taking the car, the tire low pressure light went on but none of the tires were low. I called Griffin and they said to take it to a local tire shop to have it checked on. Turns out one of the tire pressure sensors was bad. Griffin picked up the charge for replacing the faulty sensor. I can honestly say that I have never had an easier car buying experience. Coupled with the service and care they provide, I highly recommend Griffin Automotive if you are in the market for a used Japanese vehicle with low miles (their specialty).

Found Exactly What I Had Been looking For

I had been looking for a Miata. Griffin had an exceptional car. The deal Bob cut me was very reasonable, and he took care of all the paper work. I would go back to them again with out hesitastion.

Unprofessional Sales Contact

I contacted this dealership about two weeks ago on a specific car. I got the reply, in all caps. THIS CAR HAS SOLD. The next week I got the same car in my in box and I inquired about it thinking maybe the deal had not gone through. I got back. in all caps THIS CAR HAS SOLD. I looked at the advert and the Carfax. The dealer said one previous owner, the Carfax said FOUR previous owners. I brought this up to the dealer and got this email DILLY DILLY, professional...NOT/

My 78 year old dad replied to that sorry about all CAPS. Carfax will show a registration change from state to state as a new owner, if the vehicle is gifted to a family member it will show as a new owner, there's a million ways to mess up the system. Fact, it was owned by the same person on the title from the day it was new till I purchased on sold for the asking price.
