When I bought my car from this dealership, the car had no gas in it and one of the sales people said they would’ve got the cat detailed but apparently nobody there knows how to drive stick. In my opinion thats a bs excuse.

Mike White at Andy Mohr Buick GMC Fishers, Indiana

I would recommend Mike White at Andy Mohr Buick GMC at 9295 East 131st Street Fishers, IN 46038. Mike was very helpful, didn’t pressure us and made the process easy to purchase our new 2022 Acadia.

Thank you so much, Debbie! We hope you're enjoying your new Acadia!

Never again

Salesman lied, said our trade in had a check engine light on, when I headed to my car to check it out, he said he may not have had the key on all the way. Then the person doing the paperwork got political and had a pile of Biden stickers that said “I did that”, said he was putting them on gas pumps by the price of gas. Dummy don’t know it’s all supply and demand, roads were shut down last year due to COVID-19 Worst experience I’ve ever had at a dealership

That’s definitely not the type of experience we want to provide, Paul. Eric Wilson is our General Manager, and he would like to get more details about your experience, including the name of the salesperson that you worked with. He can be reached at your convenience at ewilson@andymohr.com or 317-934-2463.

Buyer Beware!

I bought a used 2012 Dodge Grand Caravan from Andy Mohr Buick in Fishers last week for my business. The vehicle had approximately 145,000 miles on it, looked fine cosmetically, had been detailed and had a good Carfax report. I test drove it and it seemed to run well. No check engine light or anything glaringly wrong that I could detect. The vehicle did have a slight tick and ran a bit rough on idle. I had a mechanic listen to the tick over the phone and we both felt that it was coming from the alternator (We were wrong!) My plan was to immediately get a tune up and put it to work. The car was listed for $7,150.00. The dealership had a trade in special that would give you at least $2,000.00 trade in value for any vehicle so with the trade in of my old van and after all taxes and fees I paid a total of $6073.00 for the vehicle. I want to be clear….I bought this vehicle “as is” with no warranty. My salesman (very nice guy) was up front that it was “as is” with no warranty and basically looked at as a wholesale type of sale. I was offered a third party warranty on the power train for $1,700.00 and declined. I bought it, left the lot and headed to my mechanic to drop it off for a tune up and oil change. Half way there I started to hear a vibration coming from the front right wheel. I knew immediately it was a bearing. Dropped it off and found out on Monday that the car had a bad rocker arm (later found out it was two bad rocker arms), a leaking oil filter housing unit, both front wheel bearings were bad, and a full brake job needed with new rotors and pads all the way around plus a seized rear caliper. I actually took it to a second mechanic and independently they reported the same issues. Man did I make a bad decision. I’m no kid and I have bought a lot of cars (new and used) over the years but I have never been burned like this. $4,500.00 in repairs so far (rocker arms and oil filter housing require engine tear down) and I haven’t even used it for work yet. At the end of the day the responsibility for this disaster lies squarely on my shoulders. I should have been much more vigilant when assessing this vehicle but because I was in a jam and needed another work vehicle immediately I rolled the dice. As far as Andy Mohr Buick is concerned they were up front about no warranty and didn’t do any hard sell on me. I guess I am just surprised that they would be selling a vehicle with such a laundry list of problems. I really felt that buying from a big dealership would insulate me from any major mechanical issues but alas I was wrong. I guess the thing that bugs me the most about this situation is that most people who are buying these lower priced vehicles are on a tight budget and just looking for a dependable vehicle to get to work. I can deal with the extra expense but it hurts and I can imagine that if I had a young family and a tight budget this purchase would be financially catastrophic. So Andy Mohr, if anyone there ever reads this stuff, how about raising the bar a little higher on quality. I have no problems with you making money but just don’t hurt hard working folks by putting seriously compromised vehicles on the lot. Sorry to all for my long rant but If you are thinking of purchasing anything from their “$10,000 and below” inventory, learn from my mistake and take it to a mechanic BEFORE you buy it!

Thanks for your feedback, Mike. Our as-is vehicles are priced as they are because they often need additional work. Our pre-sale service inspection for these types of vehicles consists of a safety check to ensure that it meets requirements to drive off our lot, but we do not perform any major repairs. We offer these vehicles to the public because there are many at-home mechanics who are looking for a lower priced vehicle that they can work on themselves. We recommend that as-is vehicles, particularly vehicles that are 20 years old like the one you purchased, be inspected by a third-party mechanic before purchase. We do have a large selection of pre-owned vehicles that have been through our shop and have had all necessary repairs completed, and those are priced accordingly. If you would like to speak with our General Manager about this, his name is Eric Wilson and he can be reached at ewilson@andymohr.com or 317-934-2463.

Very Satisfied

Usually I’m not great at car dealerships but everyone was so polite and knowledgeable. We would buy all of our future cars at Andy Mohr. The sales team went out of their way to help find and process the car we decided to purchase.
