No Value For Being A Long Time Customer

In this age of technology one would think a dealership like Southern Motors Honda would recognize a long time customer (5 new Hondas purchased within 11 years). I bought my new Hondas at Southern Motors for two specific reasons. 1) Andy Pigman. He always takes a moment to come and talk with me and my family. He continues to be concerned after a new car sale and well into the warranty and servicing of the vehicle. 2) Service. Until the past two years I appreciated the way the Service folks helped the customer. I just had my Accord’s 105,000 mile service (timing belt and water pump replaced), V6 tune up, an unexpected oil pump replacement, and a few minor items. So the planned visit was well over $1,300 but ended up being over $1,850. The cost is not upsetting (although it’s a lot money) but Southern Motors not valuing a loyal customer is disappointing. In the past 11 years, I have purchased all five of my Honda’s from Southern Motors and service from their service department. But for some reason their Customer Service representatives are not being given the tools to identify and help loyal customers. With the turn over by the Customer Service representatives it’s difficult to build a relationship with them. This visit’s Service Representative, Billie, was extremely helpful to me and I am very thankful for her hard work. She gave me updates on a regularly basis which kept me informed of items that needed to be addressed and let me plan on when the service visit would be done. So the issue I have is not with her but with the Southern Motors management. If the Service department’s tools, provided to Billie, contained all of my vehicles’ history I am sure she would have found an opportunity to take care of my needs during this service. After all when someone is spending in excess of $1,800 it should warrant supporting a special request, a loaner car for the day, or however long my car is being serviced. Troy

Friendly and knowledgeable service!

We just got a great deal on a new Honda CRV we talked to Marleny she was really sweet and low pressure gave me the keys for a test drive right away. We also met with the sale manager who was super personable. We were able to also speak with Mr. Kaminsky himself and he really worked with us to make sure we were completely satisfied with our purchase. They are extremely knowledgeable about the car and answered all of our questions. We bought our Honda Pilot here 6 years ago and now we wanted a smaller car but still with a lots of room in back and the CRV was a perfect match. I have been driving Honda's for years and they are the most reliable cars I have ever driven. When it's time for a new one we will return again.

Fantastic Experience

I'm thrilled with my new CR-V and absolutely satisfied with the service from Southern Motors Honda. My salesperson, Ron Barnes, was a pleasure to work with. He was patient and easy going and made himself available for follow up questions even after the transaction was done. I've been a happy customer with the service department for several years now and the sales department has extended my impression that Southern Motors Honda goes above and beyond to take care of customers. Ron arranged a rental car for me to use until my new CR-V was ready to be picked up, just one of many courtesies that made the car buying experience much easier than I expected. He also spent a good chunk of time showing me the features and getting settings customized so I felt right at home driving my new car off the lot. Everyone I encountered in the process was friendly and respectful, and as a woman I never felt dismissed or intimidated. The experience had plenty of hospitality, made especially fun for me with the dog making the rounds and greeting customers. My only regret is that I waited so long to buy a new car. Now that I know it doesn't have to be scary or uncomfortable I won't let that happen again. I will definitely make future car purchases from Ron Barnes at Southern Motors Honda.

Buying a car at Southern Motors Honda is an overall great experience! The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable! Do not think twice about where to buy your next car!! Go straight to Southern Motors Honda!

First Class Dealership

Having purchased four Nissan Muranos in the last 10 years, we decided to get something larger for traveling and decided to go old school and get a mini van, a Honday Odyssey Elite to be specific. The purchase experience at Southern Motors Honda was exceptional. DeWarren Foster was our salesperson and he was a pleasure to deal with. Very flexible. Professional and helpful. The service department where we will have most of our contacts with this dealership in the future, was a pleasure to deal with. Very efficient, communicative, and a pleasure to have service our cars. They provided us a loaner while ours was being serviced which was a nice touch. The bottom line to all of this is this: Dealers are a dime a dozen for just about any car you want to buy. When you combine the purchase experience with the service experience and feel very good about both of them, you've got yourself a dealer. I would highly recommend Southern Motors Honda.

Awesome Saleperson

Dawarren foster was an amazing salesperson. He was kind polite and didn't pressure us like most dealerships do. He was very knowledgeable about the vehicles and made the experience great. We would gladly refer any and everyone we know to this gentleman to purchase a vehicle.

Just purchased my 1st Honda WOW. love everything about it. The people are fantastic especially Johnny Walker a true professional I can't wait until the need arises for the next purchase but I know this car will last a very long time kudos to the people at Southern Motors

Wonderful experience

I bought my second Odyssey Van ( in total the 6th ) from Southern Motors Honda in Savannah ,GA replacing my Odyssey EX-L with navigation. The intention was to replace it with the same type but couldn't resist an offer I got for an 2014 Touring .Not to talk about ,that I was very happy with the trade in offer. The service was outstanding and special thanks to the sales representative Andrew Ether and special thanks to the c-owner Ross Kaminsky. I only can recommend this dealership based on the costumer service and the overall experience I received the second time around.

Great Place to Buy a Car

It is very seldom that I feel inclined to write a review regarding a purchase but I believe that my recent purchase of a Honda Accord EX-L from Southern Motors in Savannah Georgia warrants a review. I was seriously impressed with the value of the vehicle that I bought. The Accord EX-L is an impressively nice car that has the feel of a car that should cost more than it actually does. The sales team at Southern Motors went above and beyond to try to get me the exact car that I wanted. Jenna Booth in internet sales and Andy Pigman worked diligently to deliver my car on time in the color that I had asked for and with all of the agreed upon amenities. When I arrived to close the deal the car was ready at the exact agreed upon price including all taxes and fees. When speaking with Kevin Rutland the finance manager at the closing I was not presented with a hard sale for add on product like gap insurance and extended warranties. Congratulations to Ross Kaminsky and the rest of the Southern Motors team for creating a great experience for Honda buyers in Savannah.

New vehicle

Thank you to the Kaminsky family for making the Southern Motors car dealership a great place to do business. The extra steps they take to make customers feel valued and important are evident from the sales floor to the service department. It is refreshing to have a dealer and sales associate who are interested in establishing and sustaining long lasting relationships with their customers rather than just selling the next vehicle.
