Honesty & Integrity

Purchasing a used vehicle can be an anxiety producing experience. When I met James, I immediately had confidence that he was a man of character and integrity. He promptly returned my phone calls and addressed every concern that I had. James was transparent and honest and was extremely helpful. My best new car purchase experience ever

I have always been an Audi customer and I was fortunate one day by "stopping in" to see the AWD Subaru Legacy. My experience with John Lazzari was beyond excellent. His knowledge, approach and patience was the BEST I have witnessed in many years. He answered all of our questions and he never "guessed" at an answer. He always checked to confirm his understanding those few, rare times. His knowledge about the workings and features of the Legacy was outstanding. He always made me feel like I was his only customer and he had all the time in the world. Also my experience in picking up the car was just as enjoyable. He explained every feature in the car (sometimes twice) , set up my phone and spent as much time as I needed. John Lazzari is my SUBARU GUY now and in the future. Being a career sales manager , John is a model I could use as to what skill sets a salesperson must exhibit.

Easy breezy

This will be my family's second vehicle bought from Colonial Subaru. Jason has been great through the entire process and is very honest. He is not afraid to tell you if he doesn't know the answer to a question but, he will work diligently to find the answers you seek. Great experience both times here. Happy hunting!

It should always go this way

I just bought a new Outback from these guys, drove it home tonight. Having not bought a new car for some time I was nervous about the experience. It has probably been about a year of searching, first for the right car and then for the right dealer. Ultimately I went to a total of five Subaru dealers in the greater area just to feel out who I got the best vibe from and based on my experience with the team at Colonial finally decided to pull the trigger there. Well tonight my hunch proved to be 100% right on. These guys came through. The experience was super easy and pleasurable and they are true professionals. I had gotten a good deal and was nervous about a "bait and switch" but no such worries needed here. Honest, professional, good characters. Better than I thought it could be. I'd definitely recommend this dealership.

New vehicle purchase

Joe D'ercole is the best car salesman we have encountered in our 50+ years of buying cars. He listens to what you want, gives you all the time you need to look at the vehicles, ask questions, and think about all the possibilites. Never tries to hurry you or pressure you into making a snap decision. He's honest and fair. I have bought two cars from him, my husband has bought two cars from him, my son has bought two cars from him and we have referred other friends to him from our past experience. We are truly pleased that we have found him at Colonial Subaru and plan to continue our purchasing relationship with him.

The single best dealership experience I have had

I am new to Subaru, and to Colonial Subaru. And right now, counting myself very lucky that I found this place. I started off shopping used, ended up driving a new Impreza sedan off the lot yesterday. Every person I encountered there was friendly and helpful. Starting with Joe D'Ercola in Sales, who knows how to listen and was a real pleasure to deal with. Then Finance Manager Erwin Carranza and especially GM George Samaha ... they worked quickly to resolve a tricky warranty issue, treated me with great fairness and real consideration. I'm still amazed at just how professional and customer-centered an outfit this is. And that includes Ryan, who so quickly got me up to speed on the new stuff in my new car. Told George "You have a customer for life." It's true. Whenever it's time for the next car, I'll be getting it there. These people are pros!

Colonial Subaru is what makes a Subaru, a Subaru!

Car buying has never felt better thanks to Valon! From the moment I stepped in the door, Valon quickly put me at ease and assured me he would make sure I would get exactly what I needed. The car buying process suddenly became easier and less stressful than ever before. Valon always checked in and kept me updated on the process and more importantly, made sure I was happy. Valon was extremely knowledgeable, detail oriented and trustworthy. I never knew just how much I wanted and needed a Subaru! Subaru says love is what makes a Subaru, a Subaru and Colonial Subaru brings that slogan to life, especially with Valon's professionalism and attentiveness to a customer's wants. I couldn't be happier with my new Impreza and couldn't imagine having gotten anything other than a Subaru. Words cannot express how thankful I am for Colonial Subaru and all their help in this process!

Wonderful dealership...

So pleased with my new Forester and buying experience at Colonial. Christer and his associates Valon and Ryan are real pros - knowledgeable, no pressure, so kind and accommodating when I made some tough changes. Advice I trust. Service department is equally impressive. I live in NY, drive to Danbury (40 mins.) for their expertise and honesty. Thank you, Colonial!!

Great first car buying experience!

Joe Jowdy made my first car buying experience a pleasant one. He gave me the lowest price possible, explained all the financing options and completed the deal within an hour! I felt Joe was honest, knowledgeable and competent salesman. He took quite a bit of time explaining the car's features (in subfreezing conditions)! Jim Meehan also presented all of the additional options in a low pressure environment. I would highly recommend Joe and Jim, as well as this dealership! I would also recommend the Subaru Impreza - it has been fantastic in all of this snow! Brian
