Avoid Rockwall Dodge Jeep Ram ?

Avoid Rockwall Dodge Jeep Ram ? Dishonest and Untrustworthy Service Department I rarely leave reviews, but after two terrible experiences with the Rockwall Dodge Jeep Ram service department?five years apart?I feel compelled to warn others. Recently, I brought my Jeep in for a routine service, only to be told I needed a new battery and that it could only be replaced at the dealership because it would require special reprogramming? of about $600. I was also told that no matter what, I?d have to bring it back because the check engine light wouldn?t go away unless they handled it. Thankfully, I trusted my gut. I took my Jeep to a battery shop, had the battery swapped for a fraction of the price, and guess what? The check engine light disappeared immediately. No reprogramming needed. No issues since. They either didn?t know what they were talking about?or they knowingly tried to upsell and mislead me. This isn?t the first time this has happened. Five years ago, I went in for a simple oil change, and they tried to upsell me on several unnecessary services. That experience made me stay away until now, but I decided to give them another chance. Big mistake. This dealership has proven itself to be one of the most dishonest in the DFW area. Bottom line: Do not trust the service department at Rockwall Dodge Jeep Ram. Their goal seems to be upselling and taking advantage of customers, not helping them. Save yourself the frustration?go somewhere else.

Wish service department would match the Jeep Patriot 2016

Wish service department would match the Jeep Patriot 2016 Manual mileage or age maintenance. Manual recommends that the transmission fluid, gasket and two filters be changed and service department says the filters don?t get messed with. These are paper filters and they do accumulate stuff and need to be changed. The price of $600 isn?t worth getting that service with your department. Ron was very efficient in answering my questions and patient.
