My first Honda repair service.
After being a very loyal GM owner for 40 years I purchased my first Honda in October of 2013. Although I did not purchase my 2011 Honda CR-V from Stokes I was extremely impressed with their repair service this Monday 5/12/2014. After having a awful time driving home Sunday with my drivers window stuck in the down position and of course it was raining, I decided I needed to go to a Honda dealership for the repair. Stokes Honda North is close to where I live in Goose Creek, SC. Arrived at 9: 15 AM, without an appointment and was met by a service representative at the outside welcome area within 4-5 minutes with 2 cars in front of me. Raymond Dobbs was my service advisor and he took all the immediate information and showed me the waiting areas. I was highly impressed with the waiting areas with the usual seating seen in most places and then also individual areas with work spaces that had laptop computers, high top tops with laptops and seating for snacking and a round congregate area with computers plus a good sized play area for children. Free coffee and soda and paid snack machines available. All areas were neat and clean including the ladies room. 1 & 3/4 of a hour later I was out the door and it was under warranty, so no charge. I am encouraged that this dealership understands the client who needs their car fixed can still manage work functions while waiting for repairs. Love it and I am one happy customer that will return again and again !!! Thank You Stokes Honda North !!!!

Buyer Beware!
I went all the way from Southeast, GA to see a used pickup with great miles and great price. The company lady called and I said I was almost there. She stated later that she told the used car guys to pull it around for me. Never happened. When I got there it took about a half hour for the salesman to find the truck. Said it was in the detail dept. When I looked at the truck, it was a stick shift. The ad clearly stated automatic. With my knee I can no longer shift gears so this was a HUGE deal to me. I drove all that way for nothing. Seems that this dealer is sooo big that nothing gets done there..... When the company lady called the next day, and I told her the story, she was very apologetic, and she emailed the general manager as we spoke, but that doesn't get the 5 hours of my life back, and over 40 dollars in gas back. Hey Stokes, are you really sorry? How 'bout a check to cover for your mistake? Here's a "heads-up" for possible future customers: The ad was never changed to reflect the correct transmission. So, this may well happen to yet another trusting consumer. Whatever luck you have there would be far better than mine........

Great Buying Experience!!!!
I recently purchased a 2014 Honda Accord LX. This was my very first Honda and very first sale experience with a Honda Sales person. I knew what I wanted and the price I wanted to pay. The sales staff was nothing but EXCEPTIONAL and exceeded my expectations. They were willing to work with me to get the bottom line price where I wanted and was all done in minimum time. 90,000 mile service
I was greated almost immediately. Told the service rep to check my brakes and tires as I was going on a trip. They did the 90,000 mile service but first looked up to see what I needed. We looked at the tires and I expressed I wanted to go ahead and get them today. I picked out what I wanted. I gave them the go ahead and left them my cell number. The service rep called stating brake pads on all four brakes were needed but I could wait for another 6-7,000 miles. I said no go ahead. They called two hours later and said everything was complete. I was very pleased with the service and the rep was very prompt and courteous. I have never had any problems with this dealership.

We have been pleased with Stokes since we bought our first vehicle there in 2005 from Gary Thigpen. He has continued to assist us for more recent purchases and a leased vehicle. Their service department has always been helpful and responded with courteous service. Our most recent visit for an oil change and to check a couple of possible problems on our 2013 Civic was addressed and handled by Joe Dettrey in the service department, with their usual outstanding service.
