The Toyota Tundra 1794 Edition commemorates the founding of the Texas ranch that’s currently the site of the Toyota assembly plant in San Antonio where the Tundra pickup truck is built. The 1794 Tundra reflects a western theme with unique saddle brown leather upholstery and imitation suede inserts, and matching leather bits on the shift console, door trim and instrument panel.

Toyota updated all versions of the 2020 Tundra, which now include standard Apple CarPlay and Android Auto along with standard keyless access and push-button start, plus other tweaks. The Tundra 1794 Edition remains an offering for 2020, so let’s break down what the cryptically named trim level includes.

How Much Is the Tundra 1794 Edition and What Does It Include?

The 2020 Tundra 1794 Edition starts at $50,370, including $1,595 destination charge, with rear-wheel drive, and $53,420 with four-wheel drive. The Tundra 1794 is closely related to the half-ton’s top Platinum premium trim but with a little more yeehaw in its interior design, using the unique color combo mentioned above along with fancy floormats clad in rubber and carpet with metal rivet-type accents that have “1794” etchings.

The Platinum and 1794 Edition share many of the same standard features that are optional on other trims, including:

  • 12-way power driver’s seat with memory (four-way power passenger seat)
  • Heated and ventilated front seats
  • JBL sound system
  • Front and rear parking sensors
  • Blind spot monitor with rear cross-traffic detection
  • Machined six-spoke 20-inch wheels

In addition to the saddle brown interior, the 1794 Edition also adds:

  • Chrome grille with chrome end caps
  • Chrome 1794 Edition badges on the driver and passenger front doors

The interior of the 2020 1794 Edition feels premium enough even by today’s standards, which is impressive considering the Tundra is currently on its 13th model year in this generation; this interior debuted on the Tundra’s 2014 model-year refresh.
